Concerto Bakery Cafe is absolutely worth choosing for California residents who appreciate a blend of traditional Korean bakery artistry, high-quality coffee, and a genuinely inclusive business ethos. It successfully offers both everyday convenience and celebratory excellence.
The core reason to choose Concerto is the Salt Bread. This is the bakery’s undisputed star, and a first-time visitor must sample the Garlic Onion Cheese Salt Bread and the Corn Salt Bread. These savory variations perfectly demonstrate the masterful balance of soft, airy bread with rich, flavorful toppings, distinguishing them from traditional American pastries. The fact that the 'sweet' options, like the Earl Grey, are noted for not being overly sugary is a huge plus for sophisticated palates.
Beyond the signature bread, the Cakes are a close second. Whether you need a stunning whole cake for a Los Angeles celebration or just a single, beautiful slice to pair with your afternoon coffee, the artistry and quality are consistently praised. The ability to purchase a slice allows for sampling their incredible presentation and fresh flavors without committing to a whole cake.
Finally, choosing Concerto is an act of supporting a local, women-owned business that prioritizes community by creating an accessible and safe space for everyone. This combination of exceptional product quality, inclusive amenities (like the gender-neutral restroom and Wi-Fi), and customer-centric services (like curbside pickup and parking validation) solidifies Concerto Bakery Cafe as a top-tier, highly recommended destination in Koreatown for any Angeleno or visitor seeking a refined bakery and cafe experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Salt bread hype? This bakery's for it. From original to tiramisu to corn to garlic onion cheese, they've got a variety of palatable flavors that will please any salt bread lover. My favorite ones are the garlic and corn. The sweet ones like blueberry and Earl grey really aren't that sweet at all. I also love the americanos and coffee drinks. Even though I go early in the morning, they sell out pretty quickly but also restock quickly! Parking validation is a plus!
September 02 · Amy YThis Korean style bakery is conveniently located in the shopping center right in front of H Mart. I tried a few of their baked goods, and they were all delicious. I especially loved how beautifully the cakes were presented, you can choose to buy a whole cake or just a single slice.
September 15 · Laura ParisoI think I just found the most amazing and inexpensive bakery that sells the viral salt bread, the prettiest cakes, matcha drinks, and more. It's tucked away inside the H Mart in Koreatown, and I could not believe the prices and promotions they have going on. Like cakes are expensive in my mind and some of them looked like they were gonna be $90 or more, but they have monthly cake specials for 50% off so the August mango cake is only $23!!!The owner also specially sources coffee beans from his OWN farm in Kona, Hawaii, which they roast everything in house, and the matcha they use is one I've never heard of before called MULBERRY MATCHA, which gives a more fruity aroma rather than the usual earthy taste. And don't even get me started on the pastries. Their salt bread is super unique here, with a crunchy buttery crispy bottom while still having the texture of a fluffy cloud.I highly recommend coming early because some of the things will sell out! Thanks for reading! ^-^
August 15 · SherryA few days ago I bought a strawberry cake for just a little over $20, and the cream was thin and very tasty. But today I bought a grape one, and the cream was super thick!! It was way too sweet and not tasty at all. Plus, the cake was smaller than the strawberry one, yet it cost $46 ??? And when I called to ask about the price, the staff couldn’t even explain clearly. Even though there are price tags, the prices are just randomly calculate
September 05 · Gloria NanSo I think I just had a dud when I came here but I really want to give this place another chance.I ordered a cream filled croissant and a dalgona latte. The latte was good, coffee was very strong if that's what you're looking for. However, I wish there was more dalgona flavor. The way they make it is with only large chunks of dalgona candy on top which you have to wait to dissolve or aggressively stir to actually get the flavor of dalgona in the coffeeThe croissant was a total dud though I think I got a faulty one where the workers made a mistake with the batch. My croissant was INCREDIBLY greasy like it had been fried 3 times over. A genuine greaseball of a pastry. BUT, the overall flavor was good, and the cream inside was delicious.Overall I'd still recommend coming because all the other pastries looked amazing, the ambiance is nice, and customer service is great
