May 20 · Eneri VenegasI had the pleasure of visiting a classic Italian bakery in Brooklyn, and it was an unforgettable experience. Their lobster tail (sfogliatella) was absolutely incredible – crisp on the outside, rich and creamy on the inside, truly one of the best I’ve ever had. I also tried their zuppetta dessert, which was just as delicious – full of flavor and beautifully made. This place is a longtime local institution, and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Authentic, charming, and full of tradition.
July 16 · יוסף אביב כהןGood pastries at decent prices. The Fig Cookies are delicious. It's probably better to go earlier rather than later. I went later and their was less to choose from
September 18 · Vivianne BarrettoLobster tails on the weekends! Cannolis are prefilled but still very crisp. Grab a treat and then go next door to Union market for a drip coffee and a bench to devour the goodies. Been coming here for 15+ years.
November 17 · Mary AdamsWhile the service here is garbage, the Cannoli (4.5/5) is very good and probably one of the better if not the best cannolis in NYC. The small Sfogliatelle was nice also (3.5/5) but dry.Cannoli (4.5/5) - Almost the perfect cannoli except the shell tasted a little bit burnt. The filing was perfect - creamy, milky ricotta with small little chocolate chips which wasn't overly sweet. Lots of places will mix cream in but not this place - the filing was decadent.Sfogliatelle (3/5) - the outer shell was lovely nice and crispy and held its shape even when I cut into it, but while the filing is tasty and has great notes of orange, it's quite dry. Also the service is ridiculous - the lady at the counter wouldn't accept my money because it had a small tear in it. If the bank can accept it, why can't you?
