★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We went for brunch during a Saturday morning and arrived at around 10:30 am. The line was reasonable and it took us 15 min to get the bakery. The cashier and coffee took longer time.Mango crossiant is very unique and tastes good - not too sweet and mango is soft with light cream.Matcha crossiant is made with matcha-flavored flour and not sweet. No filling inside, which Is what we like.Mushroom danish tastes great and savory.French toast cube crossiant is unique but probably the least attractive among the ones we tried - It's quite sweet compared to other ones, but can match well with the matcha latte. For drinks: Matcha latte has very strong matcha flavor and can be bitter toward the end, which Could be nice for people who like the style. Cafe latte is also very good. The vibe is fine, though loud. There are usually seats available after getting the bakery.Would Love to go again and try more items!
September 06 · Yirui Arlene ZhangOne of the most popular bakeries in Santa Clara. My friend from the area said this was his go-to spot for croissants, so we stopped by early on a Saturday morning, just after they opened. We got there around 7:20am, a bit before their full lineup was out. So no mango croissant (their most popular item), but we picked up a few of my friend’s favorites: the almond croissant, strawberry cream croissant, and a fig danish.Almond Croissant – Solid. On par with some of the better almond croissants I’ve had in SF. Flaky, rich, and not overly sweet.Strawberry Cream Croissant – The croissant itself wasn’t anything special in terms of texture, but the cream was exactly my kind of thing. Much like a delicate Japanese cream, it captured the pure richness of milk and filled in the gaps left by the croissant’s structure and made the whole thing work. Could imagine this being even better with the mango version.Fig Danish – Every time I try a pastry with fig toppings, I rarely taste real fig flavor. It's usually drowned out by syrup, which makes it hard to distinguish from preserved fruit. But this one was different. Lightly glazed, not overly sweet, and it actually preserved the fig’s floral, subtly nutty character. Might be the best fig danish I’ve had.
July 15 · Jea KimWe have been here four times so far and enjoy the freshness of their pastries. On our first visit, we ordered the pain chocolate and triple chocolate with double espresso and Americano. While the pastries were fresh, the chocolate filling was not generous. On our second visit, we went for breakfast and ordered two plain croissants, two ham and cheese croissants, a double espresso, and an Americano - we had to ask for a new espresso because they served us a cold one. Take away Cube French Croissant Toast and Matcha Chocolat. Again, we enjoy the freshness of the pastries. However, we were pretty surprised by how sweet the ham and cheese were. The croissant seemed to have sweetness that we didn't expect from a savory pastry. Unfortunately, this was not much to our liking. As for the French toast, it was good, heavy but good. The Matcha chocolate, while the freshness of the pastry was there, lacked the flavour or kick from the Matcha. On our third visit, we went again for breakfast, and this time, we ordered a farmer’s focaccia, pain chocolat, omelet, and bacon croissant set breakfast, along with double espresso and Americano. We enjoyed the farmer’s focaccia. We didn't enjoy the croissant omelet and bacon much. We thought the omelet and bacon flavoring was overpowering; we couldn't taste much of the croissant. I decided to eat everything separately. And the fourth, for afternoon snacks, we ordered 1x plain croissant, white chocolate Matcha scone, pain au chocolat, double espresso, and Americano. Again, they served the espresso warm, not hot. Perhaps they have it ready on the side and can fill it into a cup according to the order. New one this time was the scone, I think from the two Matcha flavour pastries that I've ordered - they don't have much kick or strong flavour of the Matcha itself, nothing much, if not zero, not unless you do kind of look for the taste itself while chewing pastries. However, I enjoyed the Matcha Scone instead of the Matcha Chocolat. Why three stars? Apart from the way they serve the double espresso, other pastries that not much of our liking. We believe the cashier and the staff handling the orders can be improved. They have so many staff around, but somehow, they're not operating efficiently and effectively. Everyone is busy doing something else, while they can attend to people’s orders instead. They only have one cashier, who tends to be the most reason for the long line apart from handling the orders. And the ambience of the place itself—it doesn't feel very inviting for dining. It's always noisy, whether less crowded or crowded, and not very neat-looking/feeling when you enter or dine in. 👀
July 13 · Cindy MarieThis artisan bakery is a buttery dream if you love fresh french style pastries. This place has so many varieties of croissants and sweets that I had to go for an array of treats, and honestly they were all so tasty. I tried the original croissant, mango cream, ham & cheese, french toast cube, and the triple chocolate. My favorite was the ham & cheese and the mango. Definitely recommend this spot, its busy but there are times where the line isn't out tue doors and you can still enjoy the best assortment of desserts. They also serve meals and drinks so if you want to sit they have some seating inside.
June 19 · Karla EscobarThe best croissant in the Bay Area or even outside of France. Each bite is delicate, delicious, flavourful and melts in your mouth. The right crispness and not overly buttery. They have mastered the art of croissant making. We had the mushroom croissant, regular, chocolate filled, mango and pesto. Each had its own uniqueness and was a masterpiece on its own. We also had their Chicken Caprese sandwich and the bread was delicious. I highly recommend this place for it's delicious bakery offerings as well as quick bites. There is always a line on the weekends but it is easier to get in on weekdays. Also they have more locations in the Bay Area. A must visit!
