Dino's Cookies Introduce
Dino's Cookies: A True Culinary Surprise in Downtown Lakeland, Florida
In the heart of Central Florida, where the historic charm of Lakeland meets modern life, Dino's Cookies offers a unique and diverse dining experience that goes far beyond the typical bakery. Situated in a vibrant part of Downtown Lakeland, an area known for its walkable streets, local shops, and community events, Dino's has captured the attention of Florida locals looking for high-quality, generously-sized treats and late-night eats.
Dino's is not just a cookie shop; it's a multi-faceted food destination, serving a surprisingly broad menu of savory and sweet items. While the name highlights their specialty—gourmet, often described as "huge," scratch-made cookies—customers have discovered the joy of their other offerings, including various ice cream flavors and delicious pizza. One enthusiastic reviewer noted this impressive variety, stating that after trying the “fantastic” cookies, they sampled the “absolutely delicious” ice cream and then, on another visit, enjoyed the pizza, also finding it “delicious.” This culinary range makes Dino's a go-to spot whether you are craving dessert or a full meal, contributing to the rich tapestry of local flavors Lakeland has to offer.
The commitment to freshness and quality is a recurring theme, with one reviewer highlighting how their ordered cookies remained “as good, if not better” four days after purchase. This longevity speaks volumes about the quality of the ingredients and the baking process. However, the business is transparently a local venture navigating the complexities of small-business operations. While most feedback is highly positive, one new customer shared a disappointment regarding a batch of cookies that seemed "completely raw and inedible," acknowledging their desire to support local businesses during challenging times. As a conscientious local business, Dino's consistently seeks to deliver on the high expectations set by their fantastic products.
For locals who appreciate a business with extended hours, Dino’s provides a vital service. In a city where many restaurants close early, being open till midnight makes Dino's an essential destination for students, professionals, and anyone seeking a late-night fix of sweet or savory goodness.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Really want to support a local business, especially during these really hard times. I legitimately and deeply care for our local businesses, and this year we’ve been trying to go predominantly local when possible. This was our first time getting Dino’s Cookies and we were really excited. But we received cookies that we completely raw and inedible. We were very disappointed. To be fair, I tried to search their website to see if their cookies are supposed to be raw-safe cookies, because that would make me feel better and make sense for jumbo cookies. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any information on this. If there is, and I’m wrong...I will completely change my review! I don’t want to hurt or snap at a local business, but I did want to make them aware.
February 22 · v1k0d3nI tried Dino’s cookies multiple times , first time I tried their cookies , WOW!!!! The cookies were fantastic, I ordered 4 , ate one each day and after 4 days they were as good , if not better from then the day I bought them. . The next time I tried there ice cream and absolutely delicious , a lot of flavors to choose from.Tonight I stopped in and tried there Pizza , again delicious , glad to see Dino’s cookies here at Arboretum, I also like that they are open till midnight , not hardly any restaurants open passed 9. Keep up the good work. Definitely be a regular
August 27 · dino nixonWe saw this booth at the Lakeland market today. Overall, we bought two cookies from the older man, but my problem is the way we were greeted by the younger guy. We were excited to try a new market and support small local businesses just to be greeted with "well you look hungry." Because I am plus size, I must be hungry? I'm sure I looked just as anyone else walking past their booth, but since I am plus size, I was judged from that first moment. Think about what you say before you open your mouth. He had no idea of my situation and was probably equally as ignorant as to how those words would tare me down, but he could have also just greeted me with "would you like a cookie" like he did the girls before us in line. Usually people cook or bake because their creations bring joy to others. Not here. While the cookies looked great, I wouldn't know if they're good or not because I was so disgusted by being judged in the first 5 minutes of the event that I threw them away. Very disappointed.
January 13 · Gabrial SilversmithWow. My friend & I were craving sweets one night & stumbled upon Dino’s on doordash and we were both hooked after the first bite. I crave them constantly now. Don’t sleep on the white chocolate cranberry.
September 01 · TaraWhat a rip off - Firstly I was coming here to talk.about about Quailty but when I checked my cc statement. The old man working the booth scammed me. He told me if you buy 4 cookies the 5th if free. He charged me for all 5 so nothing was free that's horrible professionalism. They were having issues with there cc machine so that's what caused me too look as they didn't tell me a price and wanted to make sure I wasn't tripled charged.Cookie wise - not that good the white chocolate macadamia has not nuts I'm it almost a cookie that size should have more than 2 nuts in it and it was raw. I dare not even try the rest. Biggest disappointment at the Lakeland shoppers market.
