★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dang I really hate to give a vegan spot a bad review, but this is easily the worst vegan Mac I’ve ever had. It is $7 for incredibly dry inedible Mac. Honestly looks and tastes 3+ days old. Looks nothing like they advertise. Adding a picture of what is on their online menu vs what I received. Not to mention took over 20 minutes to get our order. (We had a side of Mac, breakfast sandwich and latte. To give them some credit the staff was nice and apologetic for the wait and the latte was pretty good, but not good enough to redeem the experience.
September 26 · Bekah LuxThis has been one of my favorite vegan bakeries for 6 years & counting!Highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches, scones, and double chocolate brownie - it melts in your mouth. 🫠Thank you for always taking care of your customers, Idalys!
September 20 · Nicolle LuthringshauserThis review is longgg overdue! I first used DV in 2023 for a themed smash cake and vegan cupcakes. They accommodated my walk-in order very close to closing time and were super helpful. The result was a hit so I decided to use them again the following year, again for a themed cake*. The experience was a bit different in that I emailed about 2 weeks out but wasn’t getting the follow-up I needed to the point I reluctantly had to call several other places who couldn’t help so resorted to store bought cupcakes for the party guests. I was so disappointed that we wouldn’t have a cake that was allergy friendly for the birthday kiddo. The owner stepped in last minute and went above and beyond to not only get the cake done day of but had it delivered in the nick of time. She explained and apologized for the experience due to short staffing during the holiday rush. The cake came out sooo cute given the time crunch and I greatly appreciate the way they recovered my business. Thank you!(*Custom name cake topper from Etsy; candle purchased separately)
August 15 · R & R FerrerAbsolutely adorable and inviting! My fiancé and I were truly welcomed in like family. We tried every scone—each one was delicious, with the lemon being a standout: refreshing and perfectly sweet. Can’t wait to return for custom vegan birthday cakes—this place is truly the vegan gem of the town. Highly recommend!
May 24 · Celeste YI haven’t been here in a few years, but I used to frequent here often. Stopped in for a quick treat. They were really busy but managed the line well. Unfortunately, I think they were much better a few years ago. My bagel was small, sad, not fluffy. They used to be larger and fluffier. I’m not here measuring bagels, but it was a very noticeable change. Same price though, of course. I ordered a small drink, they charged (and gave me) a medium instead. Didn’t realize until I looked at the digital receipt later. I guess I should have asked them to repeat the order back to me. I forgot they charge extra for oat milk, so that’s a my bad, but it’s a little wild to me that a vegan bakery would up charge for that.Overall, I’m glad to have Dulce as a staple in Atlanta but it does make me sad that the size, quality, and service aren’t what they used to be.Edit: I appreciate the kind update from the owner, I hadn't realized the bagels were made by hand, so I guess I just got unlucky after not having been here for a few years. I'm adding an additional star because of the owner's response, I don't want to hurt a local business that clearly cares and takes feedback in stride. I do think the cost is outpacing the value that was seen in years past, but I understand that with rising prices they can only do so much, and their commitment to using quality ingredients is commendable.
