★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Best place to get a breakfast bagel in an airport. The bagel was a little hard for my liking, but delicious in flavor. We got a bacon and cheddar egg sandwich with added avocado and cream cheese as well as a farmhouse bagel with added avocado and onion and chive cream cheese. No drinks this time, but they did have options available. Self ordering stations as well. Atmosphere was 3 stars simply because it was in an airport. I recommend trying it out if you're stuck in the LAX airport and need something before take off.
August 12 · TaylorTheir microwave must go to hell and back.Everything so so hot.Breakfast burrito isn’t bad but looked like oil was poured all over it.It took me a minute to figure out what was supposed to be a hashbrown in the bag.Coffee wasn’t bad.
August 18 · Michael HThe food is always good, but the service at this location is awful. I waited almost 40 minutes for one bagel sandwich (watching customers who ordered after me come and go with their meals in 10-15 minutes) and when I asked for an update on the timing about 1/2 hour in as my flight was boarding in ten minutes, the person serving just walked away. I did eventually get my sandwich after asking a second employee, but I watched it get made, and it was tossed together in about 30 seconds, and so fell apart when I unwrapped it. Einstein is usually so good, but this location is not it...
September 14 · Madison SadlerAverage experience today. The line was quite long as they are one of the few places that open at 4:00 am. The line moved slow. When we arrived at the front to order, the employee was efficient but spoke very quietly and was hard to hear. The wait for the food was a little longer than expected, taking the line and early hour into consideration. We noticed that the employee calling out order names for pickup was very soft spoken and this caused quite a bit of confusion. Many people were looking at each other and asking if they had heard the name that was called. This caused a few people several extra minutes as they tried to sort out the orders. Our sandwiches, the All Nighters, were good, but hastily put together with all the bacon on one side of the sandwich. The temperature and taste were good.Nice choice for the airport early, but lots of opportunities for improvement.
June 05 · Ryan NordgrenEinstein Bros is not normally my go-to bagel shop but for this being the cheapest option available in Southwest Terminal 1 at LAX, I'd say it was worth the effort. The shop is located directly after clearing TSA and popping into the gate area. There's usually a long line as everyone wants to not only order a bagel sandwich, but also get their coffee fix.You have the option of ordering either on their app or at the counter. While the app is faster, there is no way to modify your order. Being plant-based, I had hoped to just order a bagel or to modify one of their vegetarian bagels to make it fully vegan. Alas, this was not possible, so I ended up going with their Avocado Toast on an Everything Bagel ($5) - simple yes, but effective as it had a lot of avo chunks for such a small bagel sandwich. It took about 20 minutes from waiting in line to receiving my bagel. Not the quickest option but definitely the most affordable if you have time.
