Galasso's Bakery Introduce
Introduction / Overview
Galasso's Bakery is an established and significant presence in Southern California's food industry. Founded in 1968, what began as a family-run delicatessen has grown exponentially into a large-scale, full-line industrial bakery. Based in the Jurupa Valley area, specifically Mira Loma, Galasso's operates out of an expansive facility that covers approximately 115,000 square feet on six acres, demonstrating its capacity as a major regional producer. This is not a typical neighborhood retail shop, but a commercial powerhouse specializing in the wholesale production and distribution of high-quality bread products.
The bakery's core business is supplying an enormous variety of bread—over 400 different items daily—to businesses of all sizes across the Southwest. Their clientele is extensive and includes restaurants, hotels, major theme parks, hospitals, Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs), and government complexes. This wide-ranging commercial focus makes Galasso's Bakery an indispensable partner to countless California food service establishments that rely on fresh, consistent, high-volume bread deliveries. They are recognized as an industry leader, employing expert bakers and adhering to rigorous quality standards, earning high accreditations from numerous food auditors. The company prides itself on using only the finest ingredients and maintaining a massive distribution fleet of bread delivery trucks and semi-haulers, underscoring their commitment to freshness and reliability across a large geographical footprint, including Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and New Mexico.
As a privately held, Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) certified women-owned business, Galasso's Bakery combines decades of baking tradition with modern industrial capacity, ensuring a steady supply of essential bread products that power the California food economy.
Location and Accessibility
The primary production and distribution facility for Galasso's Bakery is conveniently located in the Jurupa Valley area of the Inland Empire, specifically at 10820 San Sevaine Way, Jurupa Valley, CA 91752, USA. This strategic location in Mira Loma allows for efficient logistics and distribution across Southern California and beyond.
As an industrial facility designed for large-scale operations, accessibility considerations are focused on both administrative visitors and large commercial vehicles. The premises are accessible, featuring a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible parking lot for visitors. For commercial partners and delivery drivers, the process is structured for efficiency, with deliveries instructed to enter through the main entrance gate where "slow" caution signs are present. Drivers are welcomed to use the facility’s restrooms upon request, indicating a professional and courteous approach to the logistical side of their wholesale business.

What is Worth Choosing
Galasso's Bakery is unequivocally worth choosing for any California-based business—be it a restaurant chain, hotel, healthcare facility, or large-scale event venue—that requires a reliable, high-volume, and high-quality supplier of fresh bread and rolls. The core reasons to choose Galasso's center on their unmatched scale, decades of experience, and logistical prowess in the Southern California region.
For a commercial client, the most valuable asset is the guarantee of supply and consistency. Galasso's 400+ product line, ranging from specialty sourdough to various whole wheat options and different-sized buns, ensures that a business’s entire bread inventory can be sourced from a single, trusted vendor. Their sophisticated distribution network and explicit commitment to resolving unexpected demand spikes demonstrate a partnership approach that minimizes the risk of running out of stock—a critical concern for any food service operation.
However, potential clients must consider the nature of a large industrial bakery. The emphasis is on volume and logistical efficiency, which is vital for commercial success, but can sometimes lead to the kind of customer service and quality feedback seen in factual reviews. While one long-term customer noted a decline in quality, smaller product sizes, and difficult delivery date requirements, the company's continuous growth and high-profile clientele (theme parks, hospitals) suggest that their overall quality and service framework meets the strict demands of the majority of the food industry. New clients should be mindful of the necessary requirements for commercial delivery schedules and engage directly with the sales representatives to ensure expectations for product size and customer service alignment are met. Ultimately, for Californian businesses needing a secure, accredited, and diverse source of wholesale bread, Galasso's Bakery is a proven industry leader built for the demands of high-volume food service.

Galasso's Bakery Reviews
(Tanker review)Just delivered some liquid yeast to this location, very easy to get to, but was a bit confused where I should enter the property with my truck. Well it's pretty simple, just come into the main entrance where the gate is with the 'slow' caution signs. I was apprehensive about doing that because of all the employee cars parked there, but that's the way in.The backing was a little awkward, but very doable. You'll have to back up in alignment with the white trailer beside the building, as close to the curb as possible. It may not be too difficult when the facility gets new hoses, the gentleman here told me that another driver drove off with his longer hose and damaged it, so now he only has short ones.Everyone was friendly and courteous, they'll require you to shut your engine off, but you have access to their restroom..... Very easy folks to work with, thank you.
February 28 · Joswun ScientifikMy shop has been with you for 25 years. The latest delivery is the last straw. Aside from your terrible customer service rep for my shop, your quality has gone completely downhill. You're also making your breads smaller. You also have the worst requirements for delivery dates.
July 19 · DS SSo far this place is the best in the world to me because they gave me a chance and in return they will get one of the hardest, smartest, self motivated, dedicated and loyal individuals that you only meet once every 25 years..much Love and Respect to Galassos and their HR dept and especially Bryan..thank you all
September 20 · Chico FleekI wish I could give them 5 stars. Love their bread but their service has been a bit lacking as of late. They make you order 3 days in advance and somehow we keep getting old stale bread.
June 30 · SooJin OhLast time I was out and about I went to see John Galasso at the facility in Commerce and he offered me a loaf of this Indian Grain Stubby bread; it was to die for!...my hat off to Janet Galasso for running such a tight ship and producing this amazing bakery bread.
