## Introduction / Overview: Ghost Town Bakery—Buena Park's Berry Best Baking Tradition
For Californians and visitors flocking to Orange County, the **Ghost Town Bakery** in Buena Park is an essential destination, blending the charm of a classic Western town with the delight of a modern **bakery** and coffee shop. Situated within the iconic grounds of Knott's Berry Farm, this establishment is a nostalgic nod to the park’s origins, which began with Walter and Cordelia Knott selling berries, pies, and fried chicken from a roadside stand decades ago. The bakery remains a cornerstone of the park’s food landscape, celebrated for preserving the legacy of **Mrs. Knott’s Famous Boysenberry Pie**.
The bakery is a true hometown-style establishment, offering a vast array of freshly prepared items that cater to every taste, from those seeking a quick, energizing **Breakfast** to those looking to satisfy a serious sweet tooth. The bakery is particularly famous for its connection to the versatile, sweet-tart boysenberry, which is infused into many of its signature items, including tarts, turnovers, and specialty beverages.
Ghost Town Bakery manages to balance tradition with contemporary needs, providing both classic baked goods, like gooey **cinnamon buns** and fresh-baked pies, alongside convenient and substantial savory options. Visitors frequently comment on the **delicious food** and the **generous large portions**, often citing the quality and quantity of food provided as **very reasonable for the prices**. While lines can be long during peak breakfast hours, the consensus is that the food quality makes the wait worthwhile for a hearty, high-quality start to a California day out.
---## Location and Accessibility
Ghost Town Bakery is uniquely located within the premises of one of California's most popular theme parks, making it a convenient stop for park visitors. The official address is **8039 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620, USA**. It is an integral part of the park's original section, the historical Ghost Town, easily accessible to all guests.
The bakery is designed for efficiency and guest comfort, even during busy periods. It offers a focus on a **Quick visit**, ensuring that guests can grab their favorites and move on to enjoy the rest of their day. Crucially, the bakery is fully committed to accessibility for all patrons, offering both a **Wheelchair accessible entrance** and a **Wheelchair accessible parking lot**. This comprehensive access ensures that everyone can enjoy the fresh offerings. Although the location is technically within the theme park gates, a separate Knott's Bakery is often located just outside the park, offering many of the same whole pies and baked goods, catering to those who prefer to pick up goods without entering the main park (though the Ghost Town Bakery is the one located inside).

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very long and slow moving line during breakfast hours. Only worth it if others in your party are stuck in the even longer Guest Services line to get a disability pass or are riding GhostRider. Food is delicious though and the tart and turnover full of boysenberry flavor. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food provided. If I ever visit again I’ll definitely be stopping here.
January 21 · J HHighly recommend their bacon and egg breakfast burrito. It is a sturdy but tasty log of goodness and it seriously feels like it weighs about a kilogram! It comes with a nice spicy salsa that tastes of fresh tomatoes which is nice. It will keep you full all day! We could only finish half of it and wrapped the other half to go and ate it for a second meal! The baked goods here looked mouthwatering and of generous large portions as well.
December 29 · MunchicaLoved this place! We came in for a drink and tried a boysenberry macaroon. It was so good we came back later before we left the park and grabbed several other boysenberry options(cake, pie, cookie). Yum. The pie bar was my favorite. The desserts were great, priced on the lower end, and the staff was friendly. Yes, we even liked the boysenberry punch! Next time we come back to Knott's Berry Farm this will be at the top of our list.
September 07 · Ronald DolskyThe bakery was great. Helpful service and so much to choose from. Get something early and come back for more. We enjoyed many things from here. Choose what your heart desires and then something for your stomach too lol Good seating outside and they offer the all day refill cup here too.
April 11 · Adam GollingAlways been happy with the Ghost Town Bakery! Located inside Knott's Berry Farm, they serve wonderful baked goods! Grab a slice of boysenberry pie, or a cupcake or cookie for the kids! They have great tarts as well! Love coming here and grabbing a sweet treat every time we visit the park! The prices are very reasonable as well. The bakery outside the park has the same things as this bakery. The advantage of eating here, is there are picnic tables just outside the bakery. Where outside the park, there are no tables available. They have remodeled inside and now offer soup and sandwiches, as well as all of their tasty pastries and treats! We also are able to get the Boysenberry Latte that they also serve at the Starbucks in the park, next to Cordy's Corner. We had the Boysenberry turnover this time! It's more like a hand-pie, but no matter, very enjoyable!During the Peanuts Celebration, they have new samples of their tasty treats. The only place I've seen that has Nanaimo Bars! My mother-in-law makes them for Christmas time, I didn't realize other people knew about them! So cool!
