Good Times Donut Introduce
Good Times Donut has established itself as a must-visit destination for dessert lovers in the Plano, Texas, area, offering a delightful twist on a classic treat. Unlike traditional American donut shops, this local gem specializes in Mochi Donuts—a fusion pastry that marries the delicious chewiness of Japanese mochi with the fun, sweet appeal of a ring donut. It's a culinary experience that’s been taking the Texas food scene by storm, and Good Times Donut provides a perfect place for locals to satisfy their craving for this unique dessert. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If I could give 0 stars I really would. This place is a total scam. I got 2 affogatos with coffee that cost $5.50 each and first of all it tasted disgusting because there was only one little dollop of ice cream and way too much espresso. Second of all the contents of it didn’t even fill up half the cup. Plus, they gave it in a cheap cup that hotels would usually use for complimentary tea/coffee. They couldn’t use the cups with their logo on which they had plenty of? Anyways, this place was very disappointing and I definitely won’t be coming back and neither should yall.
June 21 · Kensley BaeUPDATE: 1/03/2025I’m increasing the 1 star to 5 star. They have napkins this time and the employee brought the drinks to our table with napkins.🤗=========We bought 2 matcha drinks. It was pretty good. We also bought sticky rice cake and also mochi donuts to have along with our drinks. But when we ask for some napkins. They said no. They said they don’t have any napkins and that we should go to another food court to ask for napkins instead. I said, “Why should we go to a different food court that we didn’t buy food from for napkins? I saw paper towels near her and ask for half the sheet. She literally tore not even half, but one quarter size! A little tiny piece! I was shocked. Later, she had the audacity to hide the paper towel so we or any new customers don’t ask for napkins. If the owner is reading this. I would like to make a suggestion. Your business is located inside the market. They obviously sell napkins. Have your employees go buy napkins.Overall, I will not come back because they are so cheap with napkins. I don’t recommend this place. I’ve never been to a food business that doesn’t give customers napkins in my entire life.
February 07 · ChantalWe went here on a Sunday. It opened at 11, and they didn't have the mochi donuts ready. They took our order, and we then waited 25 minutes for the donuts and 30 minutes for our brown sugar latte. The donuts were ok, but nothing to write home about, and the drink was literally milk. The one I paid for, they did not have, so we got the brown sugar. It had zero flavor aside from just milk. The drink was super disappointing. I would not recommend trying this place. We were the 1st ones there, so waiting 30 mins is a little crazy.
February 20 · Julie FergusonThis place is so amazing! I love everything about visiting here, from the kind people to the amazing food, it’s all incredible! Definitely worth the time coming here!
May 27 · Aby JuarezI was introduced to the mochi donuts as a gift (see photo). Located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace, a great atmosphere 👍 Good Time Donut staff are so kind and recommended their best but I'm convinced everything on their menu is the best! My sister and I went an hour before they closed, and the donuts were 10/10 amazing! Ube and Yuzu are our favorites 🍩 The Dallas Mavs cream soda was good, too. We'll definitely be back!
