The primary value lies in its unapologetic authenticity and incredible variety of Mexican pastries. For many, this bakery is the definitive source for staples like a soft, perfectly sweet Concha or a freshly baked Bolillo, which are difficult to find made with the same care elsewhere.
It's worth choosing Guadalajara Bakery specifically for its Pan Dulce and Custom Cakes. Furthermore, if you are planning a special occasion, their Tres Leches and other whole cakes are a cultural and culinary favorite that can truly elevate any celebration.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Such a wonderful bakery! My mom and I stopped by, and not only was the pan dulce fresh and delicious, but the customer service was amazing. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, which made our visit even better. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for great pastries and a friendly atmosphere!
September 17 · emmGot a tamal verde that was all masa one too many times. Tried to go back to support small businesses. I was in line with my hungry son with one more person behind me and the cashier decides to ring up a friend that came in after everyone else because he only had one bread. Didnt even have exact change, she still rung it up and handed some coins back. I told her in spanish that we were next and she just gave this dumb grin/laugh and continued to ring him up so I called her out again. The line cutter was embarrassed but I walked out. Lost my business. Get cheaper bread at the stater brothers next door. Same “quality” anyway.
September 15 · Javi Alex GlezPleasant staff, fresh baked goods, plus they sell a variety of tamales. Ask about prices, ‘cuz they’re not listed. Molletes are my favorite pastry, but the ones here aren’t as generous with the icing as I’m used to elsewhere. Chicken tamales: not as good as the ones I make at home with the broth of ancho chiles, but acceptable. Besides taste, you should evaluate tamales by the meat-to-dough ratio… the tamales I bought here had about 40% meat, which is acceptable, though the tail of the tamale (about 2 inches) was dough only. Tamale vendors focus on this ratio because meat is pricey and dough is cheap. At $2.25/tamale here, I would expect a 50-50 ratio at least, especially if it’s chicken, with the meat spread through the tail of the tamale.
August 02 · M. AbbottEveryone is so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Their tacos are the best around. This will be a spot whenever I come so visit SoCal.
August 18 · Tito CentenoThis bakery has the most delicious Cakes!! 😍 we’ve had a couple of Wedding & Quinceñera Cakes done here, and I can truly say all the guests were delighted. Their bread is delicious as well.
