Immaculee Bakery Introduce
For New Yorkers with a deep appreciation for authentic Caribbean flavors, Immaculee Bakery is a cherished name that often comes up in conversation. Tucked away on Nostrand Avenue in the bustling Brooklyn neighborhood of Flatbush, this family-owned Haitian American bakery and restaurant has built a loyal following over the years. It's a place where the rich culinary traditions of Haiti are celebrated through a menu of freshly baked goods and savory dishes. The bakery has become a staple for many families who visit regularly, often after church, to pick up a box of their famous patties—a testament to the deep-rooted connection this place has with its community.
Immaculee Bakery is particularly known for its Haitian patties, which are celebrated for their flaky, buttery crust and flavorful fillings. These aren't just any patties; they are a culinary experience, made with a puff pastry that is both delicate and satisfying. Customers have praised the quality of the patties for being warm, flaky, and delicious, often with a mild, salty flavor that hits the spot. The bakery's commitment to using traditional recipes ensures that every bite transports you straight to the heart of the Caribbean. Beyond the patties, the bakery is also lauded for its soft, warm bread and other baked goods, which are staples in many local households.
However, as with any long-standing local business, the experience can sometimes vary. While many customers rave about their food, others have had experiences that have left them feeling disappointed. One customer noted a specific instance where the quality of the chicken patties was not up to their usual standard, expressing frustration that a "fresh batch" lacked seasoning and filling. This kind of feedback, while negative, highlights the high expectations customers have for Immaculee Bakery, based on its long history of delivering excellent food. The bakery’s overall reputation, however, remains strong, with many still considering it their go-to spot for authentic, high-quality Haitian patties and bread, whether through a regular visit or a surprise bag from a service like Too Good to Go.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I used to come here with my family after church and we would get a whole box of patties they used to taste SO GOOD!After today I’m never coming back here again I was so entirely and utterly dissatisfied and disappointed at the lack of effort put into these patties! The chicken was way too vinegary could hardly taste the seasoning and they barely put any chicken in there!I’m so upset because I wanted to show more of my culture food to my bf and even he was disappointed! Will not be buying from here again! Y’allNeed to do better!Mind you the chicken patties came from a fresh batch I watched the baker bring out
February 21 · Francine PauleusDelicious, flaky, and warm patties for a very reasonable price. I got fish and veggie - mild, salty flavor. Surprise bag from Too Good to Go.
May 12 · Sanya AhmedFirst time trying Haitian patties. The crust was phenomenal! Buttery and flaky! I tried the cod patty for something different, but the filling wasn’t my favorite. The girl serving was ok, no space for dining in and they’re pretty busy. I wish they had a vegetable party but maybe it was out of stock at the time.
October 19 · Sas GeoArrived as soon as highly coveted trays of piping hot chicken and beef patties were taken out of the oven... to a frenzy of onlooking hungry customers. It was certainly my lucky day today. They're small but extremely filling, felt more than full after one, only $1.25 each, four for $5!!! Madness. Don't forget akasan, I think it's like a corn flour porridge with milkshake consistency if you want to treat yourself!
March 07 · Cathy KThe patties are just ok to me. There’s more crust than filling and it feels unbalanced on the palette. It was tasty but should have a better crust to filling ratio. I also bought a piece of cake and it was terrrrible!!! The icing was gross and the cake was dry and crumbly. It also tasted closer to cornbread rather than cake.
