It's A Divine Bakery Introduce
Introduction / Overview
Nestled in the heart of the charming high desert community of Cave Creek, Arizona, It's A Divine Bakery stands out as a unique local destination specializing in artisan and European-style baked goods. Situated at the prominent Village Center location, this bakery caters to residents and visitors of the North Valley who seek both traditional comfort items and specialty products tailored to modern dietary needs. The essence of the business lies in its claim to offer "Fresh European Baked Goods," including cakes, cookies, pies, and its famous strudels, alongside a commitment to making sure "NO ONE is left out" with its diverse menu.
More than a standard bakery, this establishment positions itself as a full-service cakery and bread source, often featuring items not commonly found at conventional Valley bakeries. This includes an impressive line of products specifically designed to accommodate special dietary needs, a true highlight for the health-conscious Arizona community. Customers can often find gluten-free, keto-friendly, sugar-free, and vegan-friendly options, making it a crucial resource for those with specific dietary restrictions looking for delicious baked items.
The shop is configured for maximum convenience, ideal for a "Quick visit" to pick up a morning item or a custom cake order. It also offers coffee, making it a perfect spot to grab breakfast on the go. While patrons should be aware that the pricing for specialty loaves, such as sourdough, can be higher than expected (with reported prices reaching up to $18 for some bread types) and there have been past customer concerns regarding the perceived freshness of certain large loaves, the core appeal remains the distinct European flavor profile and the breadth of its specialized offerings.
Location and Accessibility
It's A Divine Bakery's primary location is conveniently situated in the Village Center at 6554 E Cave Creek Rd, Cave Creek, AZ 85331, USA. This placement is central to the Cave Creek community, making it highly accessible for locals running errands or for those traveling up Cave Creek Road from Scottsdale and Phoenix seeking a desert town experience.
Understanding the importance of ensuring a smooth experience for all customers in the Arizona heat and landscape, the location has prioritized excellent physical accessibility:
- Wheelchair Accessible Entrance: The bakery provides an unobstructed entrance designed to accommodate individuals using wheelchairs or other mobility aids. This ensures that every member of the community can easily access the counter to view the daily fresh selection and place their order.
- Wheelchair Accessible Parking Lot: Dedicated, convenient parking is available immediately adjacent to the building. This feature minimizes the distance traveled from the vehicle to the entrance, simplifying the process of picking up delicate cakes or multiple bread loaves.
In addition to physical accessibility, the transaction process is streamlined to meet modern expectations, supporting a quick and easy visit:
- Credit Cards: Major credit cards are widely accepted, providing flexibility for customers making larger custom orders, such as cakes, or for those who simply prefer using plastic for their daily purchase.
- Debit Cards: Debit cards are also a standard and fast method of payment, ensuring that purchasing a loaf of bread or a coffee is quick and efficient, supporting the overall "Quick visit" ethos of the bakery.
These provisions affirm the bakery’s dedication to serving all local Arizona patrons with ease and convenience.

Features / Highlights
What makes It's A Divine Bakery a distinct choice for Arizona residents is its specific niche and commitment to a comprehensive product line that extends far beyond the typical corner bakery.
- Fresh European Treats Specialty: The shop's primary feature is its focus on European-style baked goods. This includes items like famous strudels and unique artisan breads, offering a flavor profile that is distinctive from most traditional American bakeries in the Valley.
- Unmatched Dietary Variety: The commitment to offering a "large variety" of options for special dietary needs (Gluten-Free, Keto-Friendly, Sugar-Free, and Vegan) is a major highlight. This makes the bakery a vital resource for individuals who often struggle to find safe and delicious options elsewhere.
- Dual Location Convenience: While the focus is on the 6554 E Cave Creek Rd (Village Center) location, the fact that the business also operates a second location in Frontier Town and participates in local Farmers Markets shows a dedication to reaching the wider North Valley community.
- Important Customer Awareness on Value: Based on local customer feedback, while the quality of specialty items like Multigrain bread is praised, potential patrons should be aware of a significant pricing spread for artisan loaves. Reported prices for items like sourdough have been noted at a high end (up to $18), and customers are advised to confirm pricing and freshness for large loaves at the time of purchase to ensure satisfaction.
The combination of specialty European baking and inclusive dietary options defines the unique appeal of this Cave Creek establishment.

The bakery fills a crucial niche in the North Valley by specializing in Fresh European Baked Goods, including those difficult-to-find artisanal breads and delicious strudels.

For locals requiring Gluten-Free, Keto, Sugar-Free, or Vegan options, this bakery represents a reliable, high-quality source that ensures "NO ONE is left out" of enjoying a freshly baked treat.
While prospective patrons should take note of the past feedback regarding the potential for high pricing and occasional freshness concerns with certain expensive, pre-made loaves (like the $18 sourdough), the overall value proposition remains strong due to the unique specialty products and the convenience of the location. The excellent accessibility, including the Wheelchair Accessible Entrance and Parking Lot, further enhances the overall customer experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Came to buy a loaf of Multigrain and a loaf of sourdough. It was my first time buying from here. My wife had been here before and said the Multigrain bread was amazing. They no longer carried the Multigrain bread my wife wanted but had something comparable. That loaf ran about $8 about what I would expect to pay from a bakery. The sourdough on the other hand was $18 for a loaf and was so dry and after getting home it looks like it was made somewhere else and then the original price was written over with the absurd price I ended up paying. This was the first and last time I'll be going here.
April 21 · dustin WilsonThis place used to be wonderful... what happened? I hadn't been to this Bakery for a while. I stopped on Wednesday March 12th and bought raisin walnut bread baked by It's A Divine Bakery. It was terrible. The bread should not have been sold as freshly baked as it had definitely been in a freezer or refrigerator somewhere for some time. It had condensation on the inside and the bread was damp. There were wet stains around the few raisins that were in the bread. Before purchase I had asked the employee if this bread was freshly baked bread? She seemed insulted. On top of it, the cost of the loaf was $13.50 with tax.I am used to paying the price for fresh loaf of bread; this was not a fresh loaf of bread! As I left the business she was telling another employee to watch out for the people that were coming into the building.Maybe it's time for retirement???
March 13 · Lynn DixonThe baguette sandwich was awful. It was not crunchy but dense and tasteless. The ham and cucumbers seemed old. And we were charged an extra dollar for a small packet of mayonnaise! I was shocked. I should have walked out right then, but I wanted the cookie. She asked if I wanted mustard. I hesitated and said yes hoping she wouldn't charge me another dollar. She didn't. But still, a dollar for 2 small packets of condiments?? She had already rung up the one packet of mayonnaise. My wife and I split the sandwich but we both decided not to waste our limited carb-eating on something so awful. We threw it away. The peanut butter chocolate chip cookie wasn't too bad. But it wasn't fantastic. We will not be back. Oh, I forgot, she followed me to the side room where she sells the pasta. Maybe she thought I was going to steal something...or worse, touch something. I like supporting small businesses and I understand that it's hard, but the products sold here are not to my liking.

May 02 · Michelle PeacockThe is a Cave Creek Gem 💎 We are so happy we found this local bakery in walking distance from our home. We love all the choices and the Mother & Daughter that run the store are so sweet and loving. It might be a little high in price but worth knowing where it was baked and with extra love in every bite. 🎂🌵👍🏼
