March 10 · Juan carlos quintanillaBeen here a few times. Sweet bread is good. It always looks and tastes fresh. I like the size of the pieces. They are bigger than Gallos Bakery and they're priced the same. I can't speak too highly of the woman who's usually ringing up at the counter. I'm not sure if she's the owner but every time I've gone, she always appears unpleasant, snobby/stuck up. Went in there today with my mom and son in a stroller. We greeted her, paid for our bread and she gave us 3 brown paper bags. She has her plastic grocery bags next to the register so I asked her if I can have one to put the 3 brown paper bags in it and she turned around and didn't say a word just handed me the bag. I was like "okaaaay" I thought that was rude. Like it bothered that I asked to have a plastic bag. She could have offered us one knowing she was giving us 3 brown paper bags and if it cost extra, we would have paid it without a problem. I don't know I guess she lacks courtesy. Which is something all small business owners should have. Creating relationships with clients especially in the neighborhood should be important for their business.
