Located on Main Street, this charming local business is the quintessential neighborhood donut shop, known for maintaining classic, scratch-made traditions that often get lost in larger, corporate chains. More than just a simple **Donut Shop**, Kountry Donuts functions as a full-fledged **Breakfast** and **Dessert Shop**, mastering both the sweet and the savory sides of the morning meal. However, the appeal truly broadens with their deep menu of Texas breakfast staples, notably the renowned **Kolache** (or sausage rolls) and an impressive variety of hearty **Breakfast Burritos**, ensuring no local goes hungry.
A consistent highlight for every patron is the genuinely warm service. Reviewers frequently praise the friendly atmosphere and the personal touch provided by the owner, often referred to as Ms. Kim, who is known to go the extra mile for her guests. This combination of classic, high-quality food and exceptional, personalized hospitality has firmly cemented Kountry Donuts’ reputation as a town favorite in Grapevine, often crushing the local competition in popularity contests for the best donut. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a cute little place with a great breakfast and great service. I've been a few times now and the lady is always friendly. There's a small assortment of donuts and they also have pig in a poke.
July 09 · BrookCute donut shop on the corner of Main Street with a great selection of tasty pastries. My husband had the apple fritter and said it was crispy and full of fresh apples. The cinnamon donut I had was the perfect amount of sweetness - not overly so!Also really appreciate how friendly the woman who runs the place is. Highly recommend Kountry for a quick, yummy stop.
September 07 · HaleyWe came by for some donuts while we were in town. Unfortunately, they were not open, and did not update their hours. Although we didn't get to try any donuts, we did think it looked like a cute little shop.
May 31 · Kinzington McElvainGot charged nearly $60 for a dozen donuts, 2 dozen sausage rolls… Sausage rolls were very undersized for $20 a dozen. Normal sized plastic fork for size reference. Will not be coming back.
May 03 · Jeremy MatthewsWell… I’ve never had to spit out a donut before but here we are. Was in Grapevine to pick something up and saw this place. Reviews looked good so I stopped. I should have dug deeper into the reviews. The inside looked very grimy and the donuts very sad. Most looked like they weren’t proved long enough. Against my better judgement I got a fritter and some chocolate glazed. They tasted like really old oil, nasty. I don’t know if this place used to be good or if they just had a really bad day but I can’t recommend, threw everything I bought in the trash. The lady working there was very friendly at least.
