- Exceptional Hot Food Items: Customers frequently praise the quality of the hot items, such as the famous Cuban toast and authentic Colombian savory dishes like 'Beans And Rice With Steak Or Por Or Colombian Sausage.' The menu also includes heartier options like 'Steak With Rice And Salad' for lunch or dinner.
- Signature Jugos Naturales: A wide selection of natural fruit juices is a major highlight, featuring unique tropical flavors like Maracuya (passion fruit), Guanabana (soursop), and Tomate De Árbol (tree tomato).
- All-Day Breakfast Options: Meals like 'Huevos Pericos' (scrambled eggs with tomato and onion) and 'Revueltillo De Huevos, Jamón Y Queso' (scrambled eggs with ham and cheese) are available to enjoy any time of the day.

- Community and Authenticity: Recognized by patrons as a truly authentic Colombian spot, offering not just food but also an assortment of Colombian snacks and a kind, welcoming staff.
For a Florida local seeking a breakfast or bakery experience that goes beyond the standard chain fare, La Antioqueña is definitively worth choosing. The main reason is its unparalleled authenticity and dedication to Colombian cuisine, which results in a distinct, high-quality flavor you won't find in typical bakeries.
If you are visiting for the first time, you must experience the full scope of their offerings. Begin with one of the hot food items—the Cuban toast is famously 'Excellent,' a crispy, buttery treat that pairs perfectly with one of their specialty coffees. For a full, savory meal, the 'Beans And Rice With Steak Or Por Or Colombian Sausage' provides a satisfying, traditional taste of Colombian comfort food.
The beverage menu is another area that truly sets La Antioqueña apart. Skip the usual soda and try a 'Jugo Natural.' The Mora (blackberry) juice is tart and refreshing, while the Guanabana (soursop) juice is a creamy, sweet-tart experience reminiscent of a blend of pineapple, banana, and citrus. These fresh-blended fruit juices are a culinary highlight and a staple of South American dining.
Moreover, supporting La Antioqueña is supporting a vibrant, small, local business that is committed to hospitality. Even non-Spanish speakers, as one reviewer noted, find the experience worth the occasional language barrier because of the 'excellent hot food items' and the opportunity to 'support a small, local business.' The professional and kind staff, combined with the genuine taste of Colombia, ensures La Antioqueña provides a memorable and delicious value proposition that keeps locals coming back.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Excellent Cuban toast. It is difficult to be understood when you order if you do not speak Spanish. You order and pick up at the register. Given the small, crowded space it is difficult to hear that your order is ready. It is worth it to me as a non Spanish speaker to go here to support a small, local business and for their excellent hot food items.
March 10 · A CAn authentic colombian bakery. The staff is very kind and they have all kinds of sweets and an assortment Colombian snacks to choose from and enjoy while you wait for your food.
June 08 · Felix CastroThis is my new favorite place to go! Seems very authentic. I've never been to Columbia, but this bakery got me so interested in visiting!I highly recommend to try cheese round bread (I don't know the name/no loose nombre) but the lady was so sweet she asked me if it was out first time and gave us sample of stick butter bread and it was melted in my mouth. I will definitely go back to try something different.
June 22 · QUEEN SUMIREWe have been going here for a few years now. The customer service is amazing. The owner makes you feel like you are family. During the hurricane everything was closed except for this place. The staff was cooking in there with no AC or fans just to keep the ovens running and serve the community. On a regular day the pandebono is the best I've ever had. The empanadas are amazing and the sauce they make in house is something I could drink out of a cup,.it's so fresh and delicious. Anytime they suggest anything I try it and I love it. I would give this place 10 Stars if I could. Please try for yourself!
April 22 · Charli WoodardThe richest puff pastry in all of Tampa is here, and the pan de bono dough literally melts in your mouth, perfect to accompany a good cup of coffee. The texture and flavor are very carefully crafted, not too sweet or too salty, just perfect ♥️
