August 11 · Natalie MunizThe only thing stopping me from giving them 2 or 1 stars is because their sonoran hot dog and talera bread are good. The pan dulce is terrible they used a lot of artificial flavoring and color that makes it taste very chemically. They only accept cash which is fine but they never have change. Last time my husband was forced to buy some candy because they didn't have change, he was in a hurry or else he probably would have argued with them.

April 17 · Francine BuelnaThis place is very expensive and has a limited selection of sweet bread but they have some features that some people may like- it’s a matter of preference.My marker for a bakery is the price and quality of their bolillos - this place charges $1/bolillo which is about 150-200% more times than other locations and the quality of their bolillo is good but different for me and does not justify price. Their bolillo was dense and not crispy on the outside. I thought the it had a good flavor if it a little salty but was not what I was looking for.They’re also situated in a location with a small parking lot so beware if you run into issues (they do have a carport area which is easy to park at for a few minutes though).I appreciate they cover their bread with Saran Wrap to keep the flies away but if their bread had a high turnover rate then I don’t think it would need Saran Wrap. You have to ask them for each piece of bread (you can’t grab your own unless it’s prepackaged) which might be good to enhance cleanliness but for me it’s not something I’ve ever worried about personally as I have seen other stores do it successfully while they keep their spaces looking nice and tidy.It did not smell like fresh bread here so I question whether they make their own bread on site - it’s possible I’m wrong about this, as I’ve never asked, but I personally like it best when I can see the bread being made and you can’t see that here from the shop front. Some people would argue that making their bread off site is ok though, so that’s just a matter of preference.
