Le Paris Bakery Introduce
Introduction / Overview
Le Paris Bakery, conveniently situated at 4450 S Kedzie Ave in Chicago's Archer Heights neighborhood, serves as a valued local spot for the Illinois community seeking fresh baked goods and a range of hot and cold beverages. Operating as a dedicated bakery, the establishment focuses on providing a variety of treats and a comfortable, efficient experience for its patrons. The presence of bakers working on "fresh stuff" visible to customers creates an atmosphere of active craftsmanship, which is a key part of the local charm.
The menu at Le Paris Bakery is notable for its balance between traditional bakery items and a robust drink selection. Patrons can enjoy specialty hot coffees like the creamy Cafe Lechero or the soothing Chocolate Caliente, alongside contemporary cold options such as the Latte Freeze and the unique Oreo Freeze. This variety caters to all preferences, whether a customer is looking for a warm, comforting beverage with breakfast or a refreshing cold treat for an afternoon pick-me-up. The inclusion of smoothies—Mango, Strawberry, and Banana—further broadens its appeal.
On the food side, while offering a general selection, one particular item stands out in customer feedback: the jalapeno and ham bread, described enthusiastically as "beyond amazing." This suggests a commitment to savory baking excellence alongside their sweet offerings. The bakery is structured for practicality, specializing in "Takeout" and "Breakfast" dining, and designed for a "Quick visit." Most importantly, the bakery prides itself on accessibility, accepting not only modern digital payments but also SNAP/EBT, making quality baked goods available to a broader segment of the Chicago community. However, a significant quality control issue was reported by a customer who found a "thick plastic piece" in their chocoflan, which is a point of necessary factual disclosure.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I always try to support this place because it’s down the street and a small business. But I just bit into my chocoflan, that I bought less than an hour ago, and this is in it. I don’t know what this is but it’s white and hard as hell, like a thick plastic piece of something. Probably never going back.
July 17 · Ivy RamirezNice place. Like to watch the bakers working on the fresh stuff. We purchased a number of random things. The jalapeno and ham bread was beyond amazing. If we get back out that way will definitely stop in
April 07 · Karen BrewerMy mother bought a cake here it was very stale and the milk tasted weird its suppose to be 3 milks... A family friend has a bakery, and honestly when she had the cake she let us know right away this cake was not fresh it was frozen and thawed out this was the reason for the cake tasting like this and the frosting was stale because it was refrigerated for a while. Most disgusting cake we’ve had. The service was even worse when we let the owner know she was rude and when we took the cake back dug her fingers into the cake telling us it was suppose to be like that. Refunded us “$10” of bread which we obviously ended up throwing away. Do not recommend this place at all the service is as nasty as their cakes!!!
October 27 · Lucia GasparThis bakery is 3 blocks from my house, convenient enough to pick up sweets on my way to work. I read a few of the reviews about stale break or pastries and I honestly have not experience that, on the contrary the pastries are amazing and the 3 Leches cake is phenomenal! My coworkers are obsessed with the 3 Leches cake, I often pick up 3-4 slices. The service is the only reason why they are getting only 3 stars. The lady that works at the register always has an attitude when you ask a question, I can tell that she hates her job and treats customers so rudely. I stopped by today and when I asked her what kind of bread was on the counter she said " the man in front of you asked the same question, you didn't hear me?' (in spanish) There were other coworkers behind the counter, a young woman and a man counting money. I was in awe when I didn't see a reaction from anyone else about her response to me. Sadly today was the last day I will be brining in that Tres Leches cake for my co-workers. Service makes a difference, even when you are doing everything else right, bad service can ruined the whole experience.
March 03 · Mariely SantistebanI ordered a cake for my birthday and was very specific as to what I wanted: a chocolate cake with strawberry filling. When I got home after picking up said cake, it looked a mess. It was not even chocolate, but the driest vanilla sponge cake I’ve ever eaten!!! I paid $60 for a badly made and decorated cake. When I called to tell the woman about her mistake, she got super defensive and said that the cake was not dry and was just super rude. We were told that we would get refunded for the cake, but once we got there, the woman who took our order pretended not to know us and only refunded $10 out of the $60 that were paid. Not only are they rude, they are unprofessional. Definitely DO NOT recommend and will not be purchasing anything from them again. Should’ve just gone to Pete’s.
