Levain Bakery – Williamsburg⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)Even at $5.75 a cookie, I’m still in love. Levain has been THAT cookie for me for over a decade — ever since I had my first one back when they only had their original Upper West Side location. Now that they’ve expanded, the Williamsburg spot has become one of my go-to stops whenever I’m in the neighborhood.The space is well sized and warm. On this particular rainy Friday evening, someone had the R&B playlist just right — total vibe. You walk in, get hit with that fresh-baked smell, and suddenly whatever stress you had going on just melts away. Service is fast, super friendly, and you’re in and out in minutes — which is dangerous because I could easily walk out with a box of six.Of course, we had to go with the classic OG chocolate chip walnut — gooey, melty, crunchy on the edges, soft in the center — it’s the one that made Levain famous for a reason. But we also tried the seasonal lemon cookie with white chocolate chips, and wow… it was a HIT. Tart, sweet, buttery, and with that signature Levain texture. Honestly, it surprised me how much I liked it.There’s just something nostalgic about Levain. These cookies always bring a smile to my face and make me feel like a kid again. After more than 10 years of being a loyal Levain customer, I can say with full confidence: they still got it.Pricey? Sure. Worth it? EVERY SINGLE TIME.

One of the best cookies I’ve ever had! So good fresh, it was still nice and warm when we got ours! It was perfectly crispy on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside. Service is pretty quick and there are some small tables inside the sit. We got the classic chocolate chip walnut cookie but I’d love to return to try more flavors/other baked goods because it was absolutely delicious! Each cookie is also pretty big—we split one amongst the three of us. This was sooooo worth the hype!

I’ll just say one thing: it’s the best cookie in NYC!The hype is real, the cookies are delicious. If they weren’t so big, I would’ve tried all the flavors! Please don’t miss out on trying them when you’re in New York.

Unreal. Their dark peanut butter chocolate cookie is unreal. I crave it all the time.They also give you fresh out of the oven ones, nice and warm and melts in ur mouth.This branch is so cute inside also, love the free postcards.

Hands down this was our favourite bakery on our recent visit to NY!We tried this bakery on 3 different locations and the quality is exceptional everywhere!Friendly staff serving freshly baked cookies!We tried their two chocolate chip, chocolate chip walnut and dark chocolate chip cookies !Couldn’t resist and got one chocolate chipBrioche also as it just came out the oven - was warm and comforting, full of chocolate chips !If in NY and looking for a great cookie don’t miss Levain!We even got one cookie back home and after 3 days it still tasted fresh and delicious (can see in the video)
