About 10-15 mins later I see ppl that came after us receiving their orders, so I ask for mine using my name and I get hit with the “what was the order”. After listing the order out, they seemed to work on it in the back right then. Must’ve forgotten the order. I had asked for fresh lox on my bagel, kid said they don’t have, and so I opted for lox spread. Later I see they had store bought farm raised packaged lox sitting in their fridge display. When I asked the kid about it he said “I thought you said fresh mozz”….. who puts mozzarella on an onion bagel with cream cheese? Regardless after hearing lox spread, it still didn’t register? They also forgot an item in the order. Get home, bagel hard as a rock and cold, with literally one piece of lox on it. I hate leaving “bad” reviews but seriously needs to be some accountability here. And for the price, they need to do better.

No plastic wrapped, exported three weeks ago schlock. Once you've tasted those, you never forget. Getting harder & harder to find. So when we made it to Lizsue's - as soon as we saw the kettle, we knew we hit dough! The aroma brought me back to the bagen shop in Queens I passed every day on the way to and from school. Then I looked at the menu - La Picante? Chorizo, egg, cheese, and cherry peppers?!?!?! OMG - AWESOME!!!! The only constructive comment I can come up with is not directed at the establishment - it's the area.. PEOPLE - EAT MORE BIALYS!!!!

This morning it took over a half an hour to get two egg sandwiches. Sure it was busy. It’s always been busy, but the new staff is just not getting the job done. In business, they say you can be good, fast, or cheap. Pick two. Liz Sue Bagels is good, but they’re not cheap, and they’re certainly not fast. And if you get too expensive, and too slow, then you’re no longer good. Time to shake things up at the front counter. The old crew was amazing, but the new crew isn’t getting the job done.I also tried to call in my order for a half hour before heading down and waiting in line. The phone was perpetually busy, but in the 30 minutes I waited, I didn’t see anybody on the phone.I hope they work on this, but I’ll be getting breakfast sandwiches elsewhere until they do.
May 11 · scott carterThe best bagel in the area. Listen- I eat a lot of bacon egg and cheeses. This one excels in all areas- the bagel is crunchy outside and soft inside, the egg is freshly prepared, the bacon is crispy. Throw a hashbrown in there and tell the angels I say hello.

They have two locations, Stamford and Norwalk. Both are excellent, but there's something about the Norwalk location that just does it for me. I'm willing to travel a bit farther for these amazing bagels almost every week.On my first visit, I arrived just 5-10 minutes after closing time, and they surprised me with a variety bag of bagels to try. That moment sealed the deal, and I've been a loyal customer ever since.The staff is usually friendly, although they can get quite busy, and the wait times can be a bit long, especially on weekends. I'd recommend calling ahead if you're in a hurry.What I love most is their extensive bagel selection. From onions to rainbow, egg to everything, and pumpernickel, they have it all. And the best part? They always toast them to perfection, just the way you like it. Personally, I often go for a ham, egg, and cheese on one of their fantastic bagels or indulge in chive cream cheese on another. It all depends on my mood that week.The possibilities for unique combinations are endless with the wide range of options they offer.
