ube ice cream
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Rice bowls and ube coffee are great. It's nice to see another Filipino place open up, as they're a bit scarce in the greater Boston area."Ube Latte (Cold)" - the cold brew is very good by itself, as is the ube cream on top. The ube cream had enough structure that without manual effort being put in, it won't mix with the coffee. So basically you get to mix in as much ube as you want into your already delicious cold brew."Longganisa Rice Bowl" - sweet/sticky longganisa over garlic rice with a slightly runny egg - exactly what I'm looking for in this kind of rice bowl."Chocolate Ube Donut" - this was a miss - texture-wise it was more of a mini cake than a donut, and it had very little ube flavor to it."Halo Halo" - a very traditional take on halo halo, using magnolia brand ube ice cream. Since I don't think magnolia's ube ice cream carries enough ube flavor, this wasn't for me. I prefer the bits & bites halo halo as they make their own ube ice cream with a particularly strong ube flavor.
