★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I visited this place just because I wanted to have a something to take to work and was 6:20 AM on a Sunday and it was open and close, I was amazed that it had milhojas and champurradas, so I got 3 of the first ones and some of the second ones, when I tried the milhojas it brought me back to my childhood the taste just as I remembered the champurradas were the same crispy and tasty, I felt so happy I have found a bakery that made these sweet treats just the way it supposed to be, so I came back the following week and bought the same items the difference was that this time the wife of the owner attended me and her prices were higher so I just paid for it even though I thought was a little bit to much, how ever a mentioned to my family that I had found this place and the milhojas were good, so birthday was coming and my cousin requested milhojas instead of cake so I went last Saturday April 26 2025 to get the milhojas and as I was picking them up I noticed that some look like they have been split in half so I just put them together thinking this is weird how ever I thought I was getting 11 milhojas as I placed them on the counter the lady offer to help me out, I asked to packed in a box, she started counting them and split them in half and told me is a total of 21 plus 18 champurradas I paid a total of $63.30I knew she charged more because the first time I was charge $2.00 for the milhojas and didn't mind because they were big and $0.50 for the champurradas, I came back today Sunday April 27, 2025 and got just 4 pieces of sweet bread and I ask the male that attended me how much were the milhojas and he confirmed that the price is $2.00 and I mentioned that I have bought some the day before and that they were smaller and his responded that sometimes the bakers will make them smaller and he have told them not to do that but he had no control on that, and is another story when the lady is taking care of the business because she charged me $2.50 per half split milhoja and $0.60 per champurradas, what makes it worst is that they don't give you a receipt and don't have a price list or price tag next to the bread windows. The guatemalan tamales are good but not worth what they charge, I know everything has going up when it comes to supplies but it is not that much because I can assure you that I really know the prices of the eggs, butter, milk, flour, and masa, costco only raised $0.40 per 24 eggs. So with all that I definitely will not recommend this place needles to say I won't come back.I took a picture of the difference on what the first milhoja I got and the one I bought yesterday
April 29 · Liz FloresCozy bakery with assorted pastries and drip coffee. Mostly sweet with limited savory options. They also had pizza dough available for purchase. Small indoor seating and 3 outdoor patio tables with umbrellas. The prices were a little higher than anticipated. Great stop for a morning pick-me-up!
March 17 · Victoria Ortegagreat bread and service! owners are very kind.i recommend this place!
April 28 · Grethel HernándezWas recommended by a good friend for their tamales. They were pretty good. I got their just in timw. I bought the last 10. Only thing was they did not have a vast variety of sweet bread. I would have liked to see more bread and better arrangement and placement of it. Service was great. The gentleman who helped me was friendly.
April 02 · JASMIN RAMOSAlways out of stock and slow service. Not worth stopping because they always have nothing in stock
