★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Amazing cappuccino and delicious canelli at an authentic Italian bakery in the heart of San Francisco’s Little Italy. The coffee was rich and smooth, the pastry perfectly crisp with creamy filling, and sitting at a table outside made it even more charming, with the lively street atmosphere adding to the experience.
August 12 · Nadya HOPEI would say that the rating is closer to a 4.4, but I feel like rounding it down due to two things - some of the pastries are a bit dry, and the lady behind the counter could stand to smile a bit more. We've come here numerous times and what we have had so far has been quite good. There were a couple of things that were a little dry but more the exception than the rule. On this visit, the coffee was amazing - no sugar or milk or anything else needed. Just an excellent cup of coffee and I wish that I had gotten a larger size. The cheesecake was good although not exceptional (4.5?) and the cannoli wasn't bad. I would come here again, just for the coffee.
April 26 · Seb's DadGreat italian bakery. People complain about some rudeness, but I'd say the baker is an artist and should be quietly appreciated. Point to what you want and pay and enjoy the best of little Italy here in SF. No soup for you
June 24 · Robert MahorneyI love this place. Been going here since the '60's! A bit of my beloved Old San Francisco. Handmade signs, lots of pastry choices, tea, coffee. I also noticed a sign in the window that there are bagel sandwiches available. I haven't tried everything yet, but so far my favorites are the 🍋 lemon ginger tea, marble biscotti, and palm leaves. There are many imported traditional seasonal offerings for take home as well. There is cozy indoor seating, and also a couple outdoor tables to watch life go by on one of the many pleasant days in San Francisco
July 30 · L. HOMThe food is good but nothing is labeled. I have very limited knowledge of Italian pastries, so I had to ask one by one. The boss didn't seem patient 😅I had tiramisu and cream cone there. I think all pastries were $8.5 each. Tiramisu was really good. The cream was too heavy for my liking but the flavors were well balanced. Cream cone wasn't quite my favorite though.
