★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This used to be one of my favorite spots, but of recent, it’s been one horrible experience, after the other. I bought a little over $30 worth of pastries and when I got home 20mins later and checked my pastries, they were all sour and had mold on them. I called several times to inquire on a refund, with them cutting my calls off abruptly, multiple times. I will no longer be going here, because molding and expired pastries seems to be a multiple occurring situation. Highly disappointed in them.
July 09 · Sarah Blossom ChappelleBought a roll cake yesterday. I just ate some and a part and tasted awful. I looked at the cake and saw that it was molded. The roll cake was covered in mold. I literally bought it the day before. So disgusting.
April 08 · P WuA charming little Chinese bakery on a busy street corner in flushing, but don't worry about the parking, the staff are so quick you could buy a bunch before the light changes. My fiancé and I drive here just for their steamed pork buns at least once a week, and we don't have to break the bank either, my order is always 2 steamed pork buns for $3.60 and they're so good and so filling, honestly if I lived closer I'd buy them every other day!
June 22 · RJ GralaOne of my favorite Chinese bakeries in the world (not just Flushing). Prices are great, food even greater. Of course taste is subjective. My favorite is a sweet corn danish for $1.90 as of this posting.Opens at 7am most days. They're ready a few minutes before. If you don't speak their language either be very patient and be ready for some "rude" customer service (it's NOT rude) or use Google Translate. Don't be that non-local who blames non English speakers for being "unfriendly".If you're visiting New York City, and Googled "best Chinese bakery" this place is one of the best anywhere.
October 06 · Kreative CidGreat little bakery. Generally excellent food, the selection isn't overwhelming, but it's generally exactly what I'm looking for. A breathe of fresh air when so many bakeries are moving to carry only sweets. My favorites tend to be the dried pork buns and the hot dog buns. Their red bean buns are also very good, along with many of the other meat buns. The one with BBQ pork is good as well, although I cannot reval the proper name for it.
