MochillDonuts&Coffee Introduce
Welcome to Mochill Donuts & Coffee, a beloved local spot in Torrance, California, that has captured the hearts (and taste buds) of Southern California residents with its innovative and delightful treats. More than just a standard bakery, Mochill offers a unique culinary fusion, centered around the irresistibly chewy texture of the Japanese-style mochi donut. This is a must-visit destination for anyone in the greater Los Angeles area looking to explore an exciting alternative to traditional American donuts, paired perfectly with high-quality, specialty coffee.
Mochill Donuts & Coffee is dedicated to providing an experience that balances creativity with comforting flavors. Their signature product, the mochi donut, is crafted from rice flour, giving it a distinctive crispy exterior and a wonderfully airy, stretchy, and chewy interior. This characteristic texture, often described as 'pon de ring' due to its segmented shape, is what sets Mochill apart in the competitive California bakery scene. But the offerings don’t stop there; the menu is a delightful blend of Asian-inspired desserts and classic coffee shop staples, ensuring there is something to satisfy every craving.
For California locals and visitors alike, Mochill has become synonymous with a 'new kind of delicious.' The focus on fresh, unique flavors—from traditional Matcha and Black Sesame to playful Cookies N Cream and Fruity Pebbles—makes every visit an opportunity to try something new. They understand that a great treat deserves an equally great beverage, which is why their coffee program features Hawaiian-inspired blends that provide the perfect counterpoint to the sweetness of their baked goods. Whether you're in the mood for a quick morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon dessert, Mochill Donuts & Coffee in Torrance is a flavorful stop well worth making.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The first time we tried a mochi doughnut, it was so disappointing. That was not the case here! We tried the black sesame mochi doughnut and the ube brioche (?). Honestly, I didn't pay attention to anything other than the fact the latter doughnut was ube... Ube dough with an ube custard. It was basically an ube cloud. Both were absolutely delicious and a textural experience.
September 23 · Don NguyenMochi donuts are amazing here! Fair variety, fast service, the display is high so it's easy to browse without squatting or bending over (a huge plus for me)!Parking can be rediculous as it's mall parking, best to NOT park where Google tells you to (in front of the main entrance to PF Chang's and Lazy Dog) and go over to the side of the building by the entrance to the Mitsuwa Food Court for easiest access! My family was so excited to try mochi donuts as they'd never had them! These did not disappoint!!!!
February 28 · Sabrina KeigleyDelicious donuts — slightly pricey at $4 for their stuffed mochi donuts — but the reason for 3 stars is because the cashier was very rude. I understand everyone has their off days but there’s no excuse to take it out on the customer. She was on the shorter end and just looked so tired of life. As someone who works 80 hrs a week plus school, i get it. However, customer service is not for her then. Would definitely recommend retraining front staff. In terms of donut, i had the fried donuts with ube filling. It was not that fresh but the flavour was good. I’d go back if she wasn’t the cashier.
September 22 · MWas super excited to check this out since I've had the one in SF...ordered over a dozen and a half various flavors to try. Flavors were decent but a lot of the donuts seemed to have been out for a bit and just didn't taste right. I'd try it again if it was a fresh batch, but doubt I'd get anything on display.
July 20 · John NguyenLocated inside mitsua market food court. This place looked delicious and had high expectations. The crepes on display look amazing! However what you actually get looks NOTHING like what's displayed. The strawberry banana with ice cream and chocolate swirl tasted good. However, the presentation was terrible. Wasn't able to really enjoy it as it was packed and presented awkwardly. It looked like an ice cream cone with all the ingredients inside and a scoop of ice cream on top and wrapped with paper like I shawarma. Would have been better if they served it on plate. I asked for a plate to which they did not have. However, they provided a box which they just tossed the crepe inside it. Picture the lunch lady in highschool just tossing a scoop of mashed potatoes on your lunch tray.If there was ever catfishing on a menu this would be it. See attached pics *eye roll*Only spoons provided. I would recommend bringing your own plastic plate, fork and knife. Also ordered the Hawaiian latte which was good but wasn't hot enough. A bit warmer than lukewarmService was quick but highly untrained.I really was expecting to give this place five stars but was HIGHLY disappointed by the poor service and how they served the crepe.
