★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Some of the greatest selection of pan around. The variety was amazing and we felt adventurous to try a lot of different things. We went later in the day and they were still fully stocked with more baked goods coming out of the kitchen. There’s lots to look at and the parking is very easy. We will be back for sure to try more.
September 27 · Jason MiyashiroI went in for my usual conchas when I spotted the fruit tart—OMG, it’s delicious! Words can’t even describe how amazing it is: fresh, not too sweet, with a beautifully creamy filling.
August 30 · Elia Guerreiro⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Good Bread, but Needs Some ImprovementsI’ve visited Monique’s Bakery a few times. Their pan dulce has a nice variety and tastes good, which I definitely appreciate. That said, there are a few things that could make the experience better. The staff always speaks to me in Spanish—which is fine because I’m bilingual—but I’m not sure if they speak English, since it’s never been offered. That could make it hard for customers who don’t speak Spanish.Customer service is okay—not rude—but a warmer greeting or just a friendly smile would make a big difference. I’ve also noticed they don’t usually have fresh coffee brewed, which is surprising for a pan dulce spot.Another thing to point out is that none of the bread is labeled with prices, so you don’t know what you’re paying until it’s rung up. And honestly, the prices are a bit on the high side, especially for not knowing the cost up front.Overall, the pan dulce is good, but the customer service, transparency, and overall vibe could definitely be improved. Hoping to see some changes because the bakery does have potential.
