★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We've lived in the neighborhood for 8 years and haven't really given this place a try until recently. I love all their uniquely flavored pastries, and their croissants that are made with phyllo which is extra crispy and delicious. I also appreciate their matcha lattes which are whisked properly which most places don't do. Most coffee shops also keep their matcha powder in a drawer/container rather than in a metal tin which causes it to oxidize. In short, this place is great, there is a cute outdoor patio as well that is dog friendly to relax and enjoy your beverage and pastries.
July 23 · H ChanThey have a cute patio front to chill and eat.Apple cider danish: love the crumbles on top, but I think the apple cider center is a little too sweet. Pastry is flaky.Sweet potato spice latte: pretty good. And not too sweet. Sweet potato flavor is subtle but it peaks through the spice
September 07 · Athena LaiMoonrise Bakery has become one of my favorite go-to spots in Queen Anne. I’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints. The location is great, the vibe is relaxed, and the ambiance is cozy — perfect for a casual coffee or breakfast outing. Their chicken biscuit is my absolute favorite — super flavorful and satisfying. I also really enjoy their lattes; they’re consistently well made. A solid local gem that I always look forward to visiting!
June 25 · Danish VijAbsolutely amazing place to grab a coffee and sweet or savory breakfast. All of the pastries are delicious. The chicken biscuit is so good I had it 3 days in a row. Burritos are great too. Staff is amazing and treat you like you like royalty. Also they have allergy/gluten free donuts my little one absolutely loved.
July 13 · Jeremy BrannonLots of options to choose from. We shared 3 pastries - the G-F Lemon Poppyseed, the Fruit Danish and the Gruyère Pull Apart. My favorite was the Pull Apart - crispy bits along with moist flaky pastry. The Fruit Danish was good, but too sweet (for my taste) with the added layer of jam. I didn’t try the G-F muffin, but it was all gone. Nice neighborhood place, lots of shaded outdoor seating, and good strong, iced coffee.
