Nana's Colombian Bakery Introduce
Hello, New Yorkers! When it comes to the rich tapestry of international cuisines available right here in our state, few are as vibrant and flavorful as Colombian food. Today, we're focusing on a local business that aims to bring a taste of Colombia to the heart of Middletown, NY: Nana's Colombian Bakery. This establishment is a popular spot for those seeking authentic dishes that transport them to another country with every bite. From savory meals to classic baked goods, Nana's has become a known name in the community. Our goal with this article is to provide you with a detailed, factual, and engaging overview of what you can expect when you visit, offering a balanced perspective based on real customer experiences. We will delve into their menu, their location, and the unique aspects that make this a noteworthy place for local food enthusiasts.
The reputation of Nana's Colombian Bakery is built on its ambition to serve delicious, traditional Colombian food. One customer review highlights a fantastic experience, praising the attentiveness of the staff and the deliciousness of the food. Dishes like the "lengua dish, bandeja paisa, and picada for 1" are singled out for their quality, with the reviewer enthusiastically stating that "everything was so good." This feedback paints a picture of a place where a family can enjoy a great meal and be well taken care of. It suggests that when the experience is positive, it’s truly memorable, with the food being a major draw. For those new to Colombian cuisine or looking for a place to enjoy a great meal with family, this review certainly points to a strong potential for a satisfying visit.
However, a complete and honest overview requires us to also consider other perspectives. Another customer review presents a stark contrast, expressing disappointment and suggesting the place has "gone downhill ever since they moved." This review points to specific issues, including "horrendous" service from a "cranky person" and a decline in food quality, with empanadas being described as "just grease balls." The reviewer also mentions a need to "always need to ask for the salsa’s when ordering empanadas," a detail that speaks to a potential lapse in service. This feedback, while negative, is important as it provides a valuable counterpoint and shows that the customer experience can be inconsistent. Our guide aims to present both sides of this coin, allowing you to go in with a clear understanding of the potential highs and lows. We will provide all the necessary information to help you plan your visit, including contact details and an analysis of why this place, despite its mixed reviews, remains a significant local spot.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews because my family of 5 had a great experience there. The workers there were all very attentive to all our needs and the food was very delicious! I highly recommend the lengua dish, bandeja paisa, and picada for 1. Honeslty though, everything was so good.
April 12 · IvonneThis place has gone downhill ever since they moved . The service is always horrendous by a cranky person. Always need to ask for the salsa’s when ordering empanadas. The empanadas are now just grease balls. What a shame. This place had quality when they were by the fire house.
July 18 · Marcialinho 1The girl in the front gave me something completely different and when I asked her to change it she didn’t care and had someone else do it for me she was rude and didn’t greet us at all only cared for her phone if you don’t wanna be there get another job or don’t work at all. As a business owner this is sad that their quality and service became so bad once they was able to expand truly a waste. I wouldn’t recommend.
June 03 · Butter MinksI order a cake for my son baptism and it was 150 dollars I excepted it well presented and they gave it to me like this never order from them again
July 19 · Jenny MartinsMy wife and I went there opening day at the old location. We love the new location! The food is always absolutely delicious. The service is fast and friendly! Highly recommended for everyone!!!!!! Also, the food is better than it was in Queens NY when we lived there.
