★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I visited this bakery right before leaving Dallas during the first week of August.I came to the U.S. from Korea for my studies, and while attending university in another city, I spent three months in Dallas for an internship. During that time, I discovered many great restaurants, and this bakery was one I had always wanted to visit. However, I never found the time until my internship ended—finally, I made it! Wanting to indulge, I ended up buying nearly $70 worth of bread just for myself. Now, even weeks later, I keep thinking about this bakery’s bread, so I’m writing this review belatedly. I’ve visited many well-known bakeries in Korea and Japan, but I honestly think this place offers sourdough that comes close to perfection. How do they manage to make it so crispy on the outside, yet chewy and nutty on the inside? Sourdough often risks being heavy and crumbly, with the loaf breaking apart when sliced—but here, it cuts cleanly with any knife, the crumb is light, and the cross-section is simply flawless.I’ve since returned to my university, which is about a three-hour drive away, but I would gladly make that trip again just to eat their bread. I truly miss it.
August 30 · 박지호I happened to come across Oakcliff’s bread Instagram account and loved what I saw, so I decided to make the 45 minute drive to check it out. It did not disappoint! The cashier (who I believe may also be the owner) is genuinely one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Everything looked just as amazing as it did in the photos, and the pastries I bought were absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be making the drive back again!
September 07 · Willie OrellanaThis place is amazing! The bread is fresh and delicious! I had the short rib danish, the peach brioche, the sourdough loaf and the focaccia loaf and all were exceptional!! I only managed to take a pic of the short rib one tho!
June 13 · Amethyst Martinez-EsquivelThe smell when you first walk in the door hits you like bread truck. The trays of bread and pastries make your mouth water just seeing them. The staff are super friendly. Looking for fresh baked sourdough? This is the place. I tried their country sourdough and the seeded sourdough. Both were beyond delicious. Next time I'll try to get pictures before they disappear. Definitely recommend going here.
September 02 · Nickolas DWhat a delightful place with mouthwatering and delectable baked items. Have to visit this place if you have not done so already. They are open till 3 pm, 4 days a week only. They usually sell out of their baked goods before closing time.
