However recently I purchased a box and the unopened bag of croutons were stale from the day I bought the item. The expiration date had not expired. Since the box is rather expensive, I wrote to the company asking them for a coupon for a free box. I still have the croutons and told them that I'd send the box to them. They never responded. This is a shame as I would often treat myself to this product. The last box was awful, but I gave two stars in this review as the croutons are usually quite good. I rarely do reviews except for products I care about. I do hope the company gets back to me.
