★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Super cute, woman owned, awesome-homemade-bread bakery and cafe! Their pink-van design wallpaper covers the front part of the store while the rest is the working kitchen. I came here for a baguette baking class last night, a pretty unique experience where for 2 hours we learned as much about bread with hands on experience mixing, shaping, resting, folding and of course eating everything we made! The class was held in the kitchen, a few of us attended and led by the owner and one of her colleagues. We went home with a bag of fresh baguettes and our own dough that we can bake. The store/cafe is super cute, they pack a lot in to their smallish space, but their menu is bursting with so many options of baked goods.Come to learn how to make bread or buy really good fresh bread!
January 17 · J DubsHad such an amazing experience recently at this bakery! A friend and I signed up for the pie making class and it completely exceeded our expectations. I had never made a pie crust before, but the class was so well organized, full of helpful techniques and tips that made it approachable and fun.The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, creating a warm, inviting environment that made the whole experience even better. The pies we made tasted so good and we left with clear instructions so that we were able to replicate the recipe from home. The class was a fun and memorable way to spend time with a friend and we are already planning to return for another class to learn how to make baguettes. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn something new, eat something delicious, and enjoy great company.
June 23 · Nicholas ParksIt's an interesting bakery that offers baking classes. The sourdough bread seems intriguing and bread can be sliced on request.
July 07 · Leonardo Torres$4 for a hot cross bun, $20 for half a dozen and $40 for a dozen. The size of their hot cross bun might be the largest among all five bakeries I’ve tried in NYC. The dough was apparently denser than others, loaded with big pieces of raisins and candied citrus. If you like denser bread you might like their buns. The honey glaze brushed on top is enjoyable. The golden brown surface is slightly crispy.I don’t know why but the white cross icing fainted on my bun though.
March 30 · Ruby ChanThis has been my favorite bakery for 5+ years. As soon as you walk in, the BEST smells and sights are there to greet you. You can’t make any wrong choices, but I love the specialty olive and rosemary loaf on Saturdays. This place deserves so much more hype for the great tasting baked goodies! I ❤️ Partybus!
