Super cute, woman owned, awesome-homemade-bread bakery and cafe! Their pink-van design wallpaper covers the front part of the store while the rest is the working kitchen. I came here for a baguette baking class last night, a pretty unique experience where for 2 hours we learned as much about bread with hands on experience mixing, shaping, resting, folding and of course eating everything we made! The class was held in the kitchen, a few of us attended and led by the owner and one of her colleagues. We went home with a bag of fresh baguettes and our own dough that we can bake. The store/cafe is super cute, they pack a lot in to their smallish space, but their menu is bursting with so many options of baked goods.Come to learn how to make bread or buy really good fresh bread! - J Dubs

With a charming, homemade feel and a focus on both delicious baked goods and hands-on experiences, Partybus Bakeshop stands out in the crowded culinary landscape of the Lower East Side. This woman-owned bakery and cafe has a distinct personality, from its "pink-van design wallpaper" to its passionate staff. For locals, it represents a special kind of place—one where you can not only buy a fantastic loaf of bread but also learn the craft of making it yourself. This article is your guide to everything this unique bakery has to offer, from its diverse menu to its popular baking classes and why it has become a cherished part of the neighborhood.

The foundation of Partybus Bakeshop is its commitment to high-quality, homemade bread. They are renowned for their fresh, naturally leavened bread, made with flour from local stone mills. A key highlight for many customers is the "awesome-homemade-bread" and the variety of baked goods on offer. Beyond the traditional offerings, the bakery distinguishes itself through a strong focus on community and education. A customer, after taking a baguette class, described it as a "pretty unique experience where for 2 hours we learned as much about bread with hands on experience mixing, shaping, resting, folding and of course eating everything we made!" This hands-on approach is what truly sets Partybus Bakeshop apart from other bakeries.

The baking classes are a major draw and consistently receive rave reviews. A customer who took a pie-making class had an "amazing experience" that "completely exceeded our expectations." They found the class to be "well organized, full of helpful techniques and tips that made it approachable and fun." The staff's expertise and friendly demeanor are frequently mentioned, with one customer noting they were "incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, creating a warm, inviting environment." This dedication to customer experience, whether in a class or just for a quick purchase, makes a huge difference. The classes are not just about learning a skill; they are about creating a "fun and memorable way to spend time with a friend." This communal aspect is at the heart of the bakeshop's mission. The success of these classes is a testament to the bakery's passion for sharing their craft and building a loyal following of home bakers.
