The event was part of a yelp sponsored experience.I rsvp'd to this event and thought I would stop by on my way to NYC. Though one of my yelp friends, Jem.B and Mike, were able to accomplish that, I was a day too early in my planning. Now I get to drive past Pieconic tomorrow, and may be stop by again and pick up a pie, muffin, cheesecake, or quiche.I would have wanted to try their Empire State Bourbon Chocolate Pie, which was featured on NBC's Today show, but picked a well-deserved alternative, Godfather Chocolate Amaretto Pie.The pie was flaky on the outside, gooey on the inside with a punch of chocolaty liqueur. I also got to try peppermint try and bought a lemon blueberry muffin to take home for my son. Most of the ingredients are sourced locally and prepared by Christopher or Wendy. Christopher has managed hotel portfolios for the Prince of Saudi and Emir of Qatar, and has been a chef at few of New York's grandest hotels, the Pierre, Plaza, Peninsula, Regency and Regent Hotels. If you are in the area, I recommend you stop in, as they are just a mile away from the charming center of Chatham. Last but not least, thank you Caitlin for organizing this local experience. - Nischinth Sadhak
