We'll explore what makes this bakery a true gem, from its legendary crusty bread to the genuine, heartfelt service that has earned it a devoted following.
Prinzo's Bakery is a place where baking is an art form rooted in time-honored techniques. The moment you walk in, you can sense the history and dedication that go into every single loaf. Customers consistently praise the quality of the bread, describing it as "crusty on the outside but soft and delicious on the inside." This balance is a hallmark of truly great baking and a skill that a retired bagel baker from the city noted with high regard. The bakery’s reputation for producing outstanding hard rolls and delicious subs further cements its status as a premier destination for those who want authentic, flavorful baked goods. It’s the kind of place that reminds you of a time when quality and craftsmanship were the most important ingredients.
What truly sets Prinzo's apart, however, is the heartwarming display of trust and community spirit. As one customer review highlights, the owner's willingness to allow a new resident to pay "next time" after they discovered the shop was cash-only speaks volumes. This act of faith is a powerful reminder of the values that define an old-school business—honesty, trust, and a genuine connection with customers. In a world of digital transactions and impersonal service, this kind of personal interaction is a precious commodity. It’s this spirit that transforms a simple shopping trip into a memorable experience and ensures that customers like the new resident will become regulars for life.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We happened across this bakery and couldn't be more pleased...I wanted a crusty bread and the loaf we got was just that...crusty on the outside but soft and delicious on the inside (I can't wait to toast it tomorrow morning!). We will definitely go back again. Next time I need to get some hard rolls! 😊

Didn't know it was cash only 😳, Owner just told me to get him next time.. Miss those old school baker's who believed in trust and honesty ! Went back 20 min later after finding an atm. 100/100🌟 not just for the trust but the rolls and subs 🤫 Amazing flavor taste and most definitely the price ! Being a retired bagel baker Sir I thank u, will be seeing me very often !!
June 14 · Agustin EspinozaJust smelling it from the outside will have you drooling! Freshest bread around! not a lot of crumb just the perfect amount. I will be only be buying prinzo from now on. Cash only! Just how it should be.
April 24 · Justin MI finally had a chance to try Prinzo's sub and kaiser hard rolls, and I felt a bit of joy and regret--the joy of biting into the best rolls I have had up here, and the bitterness from the decades of bad bread I've consumed from other bakery stores and supermarkets that I could have avoided. These Prinzo's rolls have the right bite, crust, texture, and flavor that makes for a perfect sandwich. This is an old school neighborhood Italian bakery--even the price is old school. Bring cash, and for a few bucks, leave with a armful of bread, the way things used to be.
