The essence of Pugon Pastries lies in its focus on beloved favorites like various Pandesal rolls and rich, unique desserts based on ingredients like Ube (purple yam).
The menu is built around the pillars of Filipino baking, prominently featuring soft, slightly sweet bread rolls like Pandesal and its wildly popular variation, Ube Pandesal w/ Halaya & Cheese. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Wanted something sweet, so I came here!Walked it, and it's super clean. Was welcomedWe thought the overloads were actual drinks. My mom got the ube over load, and it was just chunks of ube that was hard to smash. The halaya was old super hard to mix in. Was stuck on the cup. She said it wasn't too sweet but just hard to eat.The avocado overload was okay. I just didn't like how the avocado was old. Some were hard and not ripe. Super hard to chew. Some of them were browning already. It just tasted funny I couldn't even finish it.I've ordered from them before and I loved there baked goods but the overloads not so much.
September 20 · Nastashya SoletaI think the price is too much for not much of quantity nor food quality. The service wasn’t good as well, 2 scenarios: I ordered their marketed Nilupak, it look so nice on the picture but when I saw it.. it’s far from the photos. It’s also too small for a $20 price. They said its for 3-4 pax but in reality.. nope just for 2 I think. It look so pale. 2nd scenario was their bad customer service, I tried ordering before when they had a meet up somewhere, days after I locked in my order they cancelled it saying that no one’s really ordering that day so they’ll just cancel the meet up and that I’m the only person ordering so it’s not worth it (I’m a customer, it’s not worth it?) I’ll understand if they said it days prior, but no.I dunno If I should also include this, but before being pugon I ordered directly from the owners, we promised a meet up at 1 pm, they showed around 4 pm. We waited for hours yet the food wasn’t worth the wait. I thought of giving them chances because maybe it was just a bad day, but honestly after many times of disappointment and waste of gas to go to ontario, I wouldn’t even bother to go here again.
April 19 · Easter Nichole AntimanoI wanted to try this place since I seen some of their stuff on social media. I drove over an hour to this place. It was a little disappointing because what was available and for sale looked a little different from what is on social media. Not all items are available and some do not look fresh. Kutsinta is my fave but the ones they had already had white mold growing on it. Some other items like the pandesal or bread items felt hard so they may have been old. I tried the Ube Flan Mini Cupcake and the flan and cupcake was too hard. I could not eat it. It was a waste of money. The variety of items is ok but I wish they were more fresh and available for immediate purchase like other bakeries.
July 03 · Jen LDelicious! My favorite was the red velvet pandesal :)
August 10 · Myra BolusDelicious 😋 , They explained to me their products. Also you can order sugar free cakes. .. I recommend it 👌 I try different thinks. The bread with coconut 🥥 wow.
