★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The turkey provolone sandwich was very delicious. Plenty of seating inside & friendly owner :) There’s a small parking lot in the back, entrance on S College St. I do wish the full menu was available in google maps so people can see all the delicious bread & sandwiches available. Also it be great if the drink menu with prices was added in the chalkboard.
August 18 · Grace KimThere's nothing I love more than a mom & pop shop and Rachel's BakeHouse is such a gem in La Habra. David, the owner, made us sandwiches and let me tell you, that bread slaps so hard. We tried the turkey pesto provolone on heirloom cherry tomato focaccia and the black forest ham and gruyere on jalapeño cheese bread and it was *chef's kiss.* Will definitely be back soon.
April 14 · Angel RobinsonExcellent turkey provolone sandwich on amazing homemade focaccia bread! The owner was a sweetheart; he was very passionate about his job and his creations. Loved the pastries as well! We had a scone, two peach danishes and a croissant. Loved everything about this place and will most definitely return!
July 25 · samantha diazIn the spirit of an honest review, I left one star off for atmosphere. This is a new business and they're tweaking layout and AC issues. The service and food were beyond phenomenal. From the outside, Rachel's bakehouse is unassuming and doesn't set very high expectations. Once you're inside, that immediately changes. We were instantly greeted by David and wafting smells from the kitchen. He patiently helped us work through what to order and made suggestions. Our food was promptly brought to the table, clearly freshly made. There is so much pride in service and food here. All baked items are made in house and are top notch.Sauces are primarily sourced from another awesome local business.Everything is super high quality and so wildly delicious. If youre looking for standard super sweet baked goods, this isn't the place for you.If you're looking for complex flavors with science and artistry in your food, this is your place.
July 01 · Amanda TobonThis is a true neighborhood bakery and I will echo, a hidden gem! The owners have been baking European pastries since the 90's and it absolutely shows in the taste and quality! Flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. Not too sweet, but just enough to satisfy a sweet tooth. They have daily freshly baked country bread and sourdough, and these make incredible sandwiches. It's wonderful to have a change in baked goods in our neighborhood and the North OC area. I will no longer have to make trips to the coast or West LA for pastries, as these far surpass what I once had. Family owned and service is warm inviting and friendly. I hope many more learn of this bakery as it is truly delicious!
