## Salmonberry Goods: An Overview of Seattle's Farm-to-Table Pioneer
For Washington residents seeking the perfect intersection of artisanal baking and true local sourcing, **Salmonberry Goods** offers a standout solution right here in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood. This establishment is more than a traditional bakery; it is a vital local food hub, successfully combining the craft of baking with a robust **Grocery delivery service**. This dual identity allows them to connect the Puget Sound’s finest small, independent family farms directly to the tables of city residents.
The core philosophy of **Salmonberry Goods** is evident in its commitment to high-quality ingredients, particularly their use of **organic, fresh-milled grains** sourced from local farmers in the Skagit Valley and Walla Walla. This dedication to transparent sourcing ensures that every loaf of sourdough and every handcrafted pastry—from the Country loaf to the Hippy Whole Wheat and Sourdough Focaccia—is not only delicious but also supports the local Washington agricultural economy.
Customer loyalty is strong and spans both the baked goods and the grocery service. Many locals eagerly visit the 6405 32nd Ave NW location on Saturday mornings specifically for their signature **Bagel Toasties™️**. Beyond their physical location, they maintain a highly visible presence at the Ballard Farmer's Market on Sundays, where patrons stock up on their acclaimed pastries and breads. One customer review beautifully encapsulated the sentiment, stating, "Really a terrific crew of people who care about the food they're making and the people they serve it to. Thank you for all you do Salmonberry."
The grocery aspect, often referred to as a Farm Box or CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) model, has garnered exceptional praise. One enthusiastic subscriber shared a deeply inspiring experience, noting how the contents of their first delivery were "super fresh, clean, and absolutely gorgeous," immediately sparking a desire to cook. After being "disappointed in other CSA's," this customer found the Salmonberry Goods box "actually incredible," demonstrating the superior quality and curation of the local produce provided. This integrated model is what truly sets Salmonberry Goods apart as a hyper-local, high-integrity food source in the greater Seattle area.

February 10 · Asif DelawallaI just received my first order last week and am so inspired by all that was in my farm box. It took me about a year to decide to subscribe to Salmonberry Goods after being disappointed in other CSA's I've subscribed to over the years.Opening the Salmonberry Goods was actually incredible. Everything was perfect -- super fresh, clean, and absolutely gorgeous. And the combination of veggies made me want to immediately start cooking, something that hadn't been on my agenda for that day. But I ended up creating several dishes that were incredibly satisfying and delicious, that I've been enjoying ever since. After taking the photo, I realized I missed the microgreens, so know that they were included. Now I can hardly wait until my next delivery!
May 30 · Suzanne KromAfter sampling the unbelievable bagels and pastries from Salmonberry Goods at a gathering, the next weekend I placed a delivery order for a brunch that I was serving at home. Everything was a smash-hit. I am a bagel aficionado and these are the BEST bagels in Seattle hands-down. On top of that, the Cardamom Buns and Sweet Focaccia are as mouth-watering as they look on the website. I will be a regular from now on! What a way to impress guests - they will by clamoring to find out where you got these pastries. The Baker's Box assortment was a perfect to sample the incredible offerings. Honestly, I don't know of a bakery in town that comes close to these products. The flavors will blow your mind. You will not be disappointed.
August 19 · J LewI was so pleasantly surprised to have finally come across what I see as the "best bagel in Seattle" at the University District Farmers Market, the texture and flavor of their black & white sourdough bagels is absolutely sublime. In fact, all of their baked goods are amazing--do yourself a favor and try a cardamom bun or two! I loved their baked goods so much that I signed up for their "salmonberry essentials" subscription and was blown away by all the delicious baked goods, beautiful local produce, and top notch coffee/kombucha that was delivered to my door. 10/10 would recommend.
April 10 · Tamiko TI found Salmonberry Goods through an instagram ad and thought it could be too good to be true. After 3 years of having their farm box delivered, it really is as good as it sounds. We love getting produce from local farms without going to the markets ourselves. We added their bagel box to our standing order, and the bagels are a perfect slow ferment bagel - chewy and soft. The spreads are another reflection of their commitment to using fresh and local ingredients.I appreciate them, their service and ethical food system they are supporting.
