★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Cute and unique donut shop! The donuts were delicious, fresh, and soft. The shop has a variety of flavors from traditional to unique deliciousness.I got the raspberry hibiscus donut, berry Chantilly donut, lemon blueberry cake donut, strawberry cake donut, and jalapeño kolache.Unfortunately they sold out of the dumpling donut. I would have loved to try that.I recommend giving this place a try
May 03 · Kelly EngAs of April 25th:I may have to go back and decrease my other reviews’ atmosphere star ratings because THIS is atmosphere and this is the least impressive thing about this experience. Glazed is only $1.00 each and 11 a dozen. The store owner is incredibly kind. Her story is on the wall and it’s very inspiring. I tried paying for two glazed and two chocolate glazed but for some reason it stated that there was an error using my PayPal Mastercard touchpad on the merchants end. We tried a few more times and it kept coming up but it seems like it wasn’t taking and that was my only form of payment. I told her that it was okay and I’ll be back tomorrow but she insisted and gave me the donuts for free. She didn’t know this but I’m a higher level guide for Google maps so I definitely wanted to do a review as a result of my experience here.I’m critical of food (look at my prior reviews) and I will absolutely be 100% honest about the donuts.. they are phenomenal. But I need to explain why they are phenomenal. They are the perfect combination of the fluffy doughnuts I always feel Koreans are well known for but it also has density to it like what I would call “church doughnuts” that the grandmothers would take to church to give us in south Texas (almost similar to the density of Shipleys but fluffier). I personally love the place and after going to at least 20 doughnut shops in the area, I’ve found mine. I’ll need to try out the vegan ones to see how they are as I have a vegans friend or two and I’ll update when I get the chance though I plan on trying everything.Absolutely try these donuts for the quality and I think the rest will have you come back.
April 26 · Kalel jordanWe love this place. Everyone is so kind. The speciality donuts are award winning. Wr drive almost 30 minutes for their Gluten Sensitive options.
March 23 · Cristopher WomackI stopped inside on a whim while I was in Texas to see the eclipse with my children, and I’m so glad I did! The inside of the shop was so cute, and everyone inside was very friendly. It had such a warm energy. We got the Sara Special and I got a croissant donut separately. The donuts were phenomenal, but the croissant donut brought me back there two more times during the trip! It was light, fluffy and flaky and the glaze had such a pleasant flavor. I special ordered four more on our last day so I could share some with my husband when I got back home. Even though they were 12 hours old, he thought they were delicious as well. If you’re around the Dallas area, it’s well worth the trip to Flower Mound (but if you want to try a croissant donut, get there early before they sell out. The first two days I was in before 9:30 and I got the last one each time!)
April 11 · Renee GarrettI went to my friend's house in Flower Mound this. I was craving for donuts. We went to Sara's Donut Story place for the first. I was surprised by the decorations and set up inside the donut shop. Never ever seen anything like at any donut shop. The whole store is dedicated (decorated) in memory of Sara's daughter who passed away 2021.They do have awesome Apple Fritter. Their most popular donut is Strawberry Shortcake donut!! Rachel was working behind the counter. She was very polite, friendly and professional. Overall had a very good experience. I recommend this place!!
