I grew up on Shipley Donuts in Houston. Been a big fan of their products for a lifetime. So, I was glad to discover a Shipley's Donut here in FW. I love the Apple Fritter. The past two times that I visited there were no apples in the Apple Fritter! So, on the 3rd visit I told this to the lady at the counter. She assured me that they always cut up and put the apples in the Apple Fritter. Okay, so I bought an Apple Fritter and took one home. Went to eat it and yet again, no apples in the Apple Fritter! What a rip off. Three straight visits getting an Apple Fritter and it had nothing but dough and no apples. Three straight visits with no apples in the Apple Fritter......that can't be an accident.

Purchased a pickup last call package through the toogoodtogo app the the store advertised it as being ready at 1pm got to the store and it was closed, this has happened twice once on New Year’s Eve and another time recently. Since the orders were not refunded or the location did not decide to do anything about the order I must leave this review to show others if something goes wrong and it’s totally their fault they will not try to make up the mess up.

Fast, friendly service. Sausage and cheese kolaches are great and so are the chocolate filled devil's food donuts. You can't find the choc deviled filled donuts everywhere, as a matter of fact they are rare. I can count on this Shipley's to have them! Fresh and delicious.

Tried to use the drive thru during posted operating hours. No one came to the window after multiple times of me ringing the doorbell provided for service. Clearly this location does not care about service or cash flow.

Go to an Asian based donut shop around the corner!!!Where do I start?! Being my first time there, I will never return again. They have a drive thru... there’s no menu posted anywhere in the drive thru and I have no idea what they have on their menu. I ask at the window if they have a menu and the girls response is “well you can come in and look at the menu”.... WHATS THE POINT OF A DRIVE THRU FOR FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS THEN?! I had an itch to just leave at that point. Once inside while looking at the menu we were rushed into ordering when I have no idea what I want. During ordering the two girls behind the counter were more worried about having their own conversations than listening to my order as I had to repeat everything that I said. Also, don’t bother them asking about their old fashions that they have on the menu because I had to explain what an old fashioned donut was to them just to be told they don’t have those and then I proceeded to ask why it was on the menu. I was done even speaking let alone giving them a dollar of my money at that point and I just let my girlfriend finish the transaction. She wasn’t quite as disturbed as I was UNTIL we watched the girl walk behind the see through the donut display just to stand there and talk for 4 minutes. At that point she was ready to just walk out too but we had already paid. My old coworkers used to rave about Shipley’s but at this point I have no clue what they were so hyped about. These over priced and CLEARLY OVERRATED donuts didn’t even come close to being anything special.
