★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1New addition to the area. Their donuts were good with a different taste to them, not so sweet like other donut shops. They had a variety of options and my favorite was the coconut donut. Kolache was good too.
April 24 · Kart BalWhile the packaging for Uber Eats was solid and the delivery driver was great, that’s where the compliments end. The donuts themselves? Horrible. Completely soggy, chewy like raw dough, and tasted like they were made days ago—then left out and forgotten. The cake donuts were just as bad…dry, stale, and inedible. We ended up throwing the order in the trash. Total waste of money. We had to opt to ordering from a different place and pausing our schedule for to picking up our food.To make matters worse, Uber Eats refused to issue a refund for this clearly unacceptable order, so I had to contact my credit card company to file a dispute. I’m not paying for food no one in my house could eat. Do better, Shipley. This was our first and last time to try Shipley’s. Never again..
May 28 · Tori LentonThey don’t know what they’re selling…Our first visit we ordered some assorted frosted donuts, a couple regular cake glazed, and the lady recommended the buttermilk cake glaze because it had spices in the batter. When we got home, all of the cake glazed but one had spices… (oh and no one was a fan of the regular frosted donuts)We really like the spiced cake donuts so when we back we only wanted those. I asked the person which one had spices and she looked at me like I had two heads. So we ordered the original cake glaze. Get home- no spices…A few weeks later I stop in again and order the buttermilk cake glaze again- get home, no spices…Finally I check the app to see the description of the original has spices in it so I ordered one of each and both were the exact same donut… with no spices…
September 25 · Jordan AdamsIm only giving a 3 instead of a 1, due to the fact that my first visit I was helped by the most sweet, patient, and friendly girl whom I thought was the manager. She wasn't, but I told her she should be! I wish I had remembered her name. Shame on me for not returning since their opening. I was sad she wasn't there.Today, I returned for my 2nd time, and I called first with a question. The kid who answered was so bothered by me calling to ask a question before I drove that way. I decided to still go despite his attitude and to find out you can't order an egg and bacon kolche without cheese. They pre-make them, so everything except the plain boring sausage kolche with no egg has cheese. They should fix that, not everyone can and or likes cheese.Anyway, I was rudely greeted at the drive up menu and then got a very forced "have a blessed day" in that condescending way it can be used when i got my food. The pictures I have added show the sad egg and cheese kolche (for me, not the one who didn't want the cheese, obviously). It was such a disappointment to what started off as a beautiful Sunday morning. Don't sour my morning because you have to work on a Sunday. I am 40 years young and have worked weekends since I was 15. There is no reason to salt my day. I dont need attitude, poor quality of food, and sass from a teenager or anyone for that fact. I am so upset when a teen is so disrespectful. I tip teenagers who are kind at fast food because I admire their respect and drive to make money. Your loss. The pre-made kolche explains my food quality rating. I did not make this review immediately after my experience. I tried to let it go, but these kids need to do better, and my food was disappointing. I'm hungry and let down by a potentially new breakfast spot.My longest review 😥
June 29 · EllieneMake sure you double check your order. I had two receipts, both showing different items on it. The one the lady filled was missing 2 donuts and my order from the app showed the 2 missing donuts which I paid for. Took both receipts inside and she gave me the two that were missing. Not sure what’s going on with their system but just check your order before driving away.
