★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Standard Baking Co. is a little gem in Portland 💛From the moment you enter, the smell of freshly baked bread already wins you. Everything looks incredible, but the financier was something else... crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, with that almond flavor that leaves you in shock 😍You can tell that they do everything with love and quality. The place has a calm vibe, perfect for a coffee and something sweet.I would definitely come back just for that financier 🥹🔥 July 15 · Adriano Masjuan
- A must-do when in Portland! I heard about Standard Baking on a Portland food tour a few years ago. This time I was in town with my daughter and could buy more than a scone or morning bun and coffee because we were headed to Sebago Lake for a week. Founded on a love of European baking and sourcing local ingredients, their baked goods are the real thing. I would like to try every bread and pastry they make!l There’s often a queue that moves quickly, but you can also order online on their website and pickup. July 08 · Priscilla Willis
- I discovered Standard Baking Co from the Seaweed Week restaurant list and went just to try the Seaweed Croissant. My friends and I went right when it opened at 7:30 am to make sure that the special pastry did not run out.The seaweed croissants were steeply price at about $16 per person, but completely worth it for such a unique and yummy pastry. The dough was moist and buttery, with the perfect balance of seaweed, sesame seeds, and ricotta mixed in.If I am ever back in Portland, his would be the first place I stop at! April 29 · Serina G
- This has easily become my favorite pastry shop in all of Portland. There are many amazing pastry shops in Portland and I have tried quite a few of them but Standard just seems a step above the rest with their choices and flavor combos. I love their Cardamom bun and their ham and cheese croissants are delicious. I also really love their pear tart that has marzipan in it. So scrumptious!! April 08 · Karyn Whittemore
- Had the blueberry scone, which was good, but a tad dry and didn't really have a blueberry flavor. The bakery is located in a beautiful spot and has very nice seating! June 08 · Lily Biesinger
