For first-time visitors to Suzuya Patisserie, the choice comes down to experiencing the signature Japanese specialty that put them on the map. The absolute must-try item is the **Strawberry Shortcake**. Praised by the chef as the best-selling dessert, this cake is the pinnacle of the Japanese style—airy, moist sponge cake paired with a light, fresh Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries. It exemplifies the bakery's philosophy of subtle sweetness and delicate texture, offering a light, clean finish that is distinctly different from heavier Western counterparts.
Beyond the cakes, the **Crepes** are a highly recommended purchase, whether sweet or savory. Customers consistently rave about the quality, noting that they are the "right ones," perfectly made. For breakfast, the **White Mushroom Crepe** is a local favorite, described as delicate and heavenly, while savory sandwiches also receive high marks for being delicate and delicious. The fact that the savory options are prepared with the same care and high-quality, house-made components (like the mayonnaise) as the desserts makes them an excellent choice for a satisfying **Breakfast** or light lunch.
While some customer feedback indicates that certain cakes, when eaten without the frosting, may taste "flavorless" to those expecting bold, highly sweet profiles, it is critical to understand that this subtlety is a deliberate characteristic of the Japanese style. The experience here is about the harmony of delicate textures and a light, fresh sweetness. Therefore, a full dessert—especially the famous **Strawberry Shortcake** or a specialized **Mille Crepe**—consumed as intended with its cream, fruit, and sponge layers, provides the intended exquisite and artistic culinary experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I love the place! The crepes are the right ones, and all the desserts like art. Coffee is not bad at all, I’m a coffee freak, so it does mean something believe me :)Btw breakfast option I like a lot, my fav I think is white mushroom crepe. All their sandwiches I tried too, and they are good and delicate like we are in heaven lolSuper quiet inside, clean, stuff is super nice. Recommend.
April 29 · Diana PuzikovaThe presentation of the cakes does not match their taste.I ordered the Coconut and Tokyo cheesecake. The frosting and decoration of both cakes was superb, but that's where it ended. The actual flavor of the inside cake, the bulk, was flavorless. I mean I ate the cake without the frosting and it tasted like nothing. With the high price point of these cakes I expected much better. I won't be repeating service. Once was enough.
September 07 · JordanCan't believe we lived in Vegas for 7 years and I had never stopped by Suzuya Patisserie. I remember Yelp events or fellow Yelpers discussing this spot but never got a chance to stop by. Sure enough, after I move I finally decide to check it out. Man, what a happy camper I was!!!We stopped by here after lunch. Just wanted a small treat to satisfy my bakery craving. They have a spacious patio area. The bakery is super clean and modern. Beautiful space and organization on everything. I honestly wanted to try all the desserts here, but didn't have the stomach for it after our lunch. Ha.I really wanted the Tiramisu Crêpe Cake which is a mini version of the millicrepes, but it was $24 for a 4.5" portion. This feeds 2-4 people. I just wanted a small slice. If they cut it in half, I have no issues paying the $12 for half of that. Lol. The Ube Rare Cheesecake was $17 for a mini cheesecake portion. This was also too big for what we wanted at the moment too. Such a bummer since I love ube and tiramisu everything!!! With that said, the quality for desserts here are completely justifiable as you can taste the quality and see the beautiful work and design put into each dessert. My friend and I ended up trying Yuzu Panna Cotta and Strawberry Chocolate Puff. We got our treats and sat outside on the patio. They were closing soon and they were pretty much kicking us out. Ha. Service was ok.The Yuzu Panna Cotta was perfectly light with a little tartness from the Yuzu flavor. My friend really loved it. The little yellow cubes were like little Yuzu jellies. The Strawberry Chocolate Puff was very light and fluffy. Perfect on the small desserts. This is a Japanese style patisserie. I love Asian bakeries because their desserts are perfection. Not too sweet, light and airy treats. So my style. Wish we had this option in South Florida!
April 26 · Terri E.The service is so good here. They are so kind, friendly and helpful. I ordered the curry egg sandwich and haven’t had any I quite like it before. It was very good! They didn’t have almond milk so I had the oat milk latte which was delicious. This is not close to where I live but I will definitely be bringing my husband to try it.
July 08 · Alma HansonFinally made it here! Amazing espresso! Can’t wait to come back next week! Super nice staff and relaxing environment.
