Visited for the first time today and purchased a dozen assorted mini cupcakes. The customer service was good the baker/staff answered all my questions regarding flavors. The cupcakes were so dry it was so unfortunate. My kids love cupcakes and stated they did not like these so it was a waste of money. I’m not sure if the cupcakes have been sitting out for days but for this to be a bakery they should consider a different recipe or ensuring cupcakes are made fresh daily.

3rd time I have used this bakery for an important day. They have proven to be awesome, with taste and design. Bonus is their customer service, since I live in AZ, this bakery delivers. Every design I have asked for they made it happen. The people who enjoyed the cupcakes and cakes loved the variety of flavors. I recommend this Bakery. The owner is hands on.

Love using sweet cakes for custom cakes! They’ve done several of my sons birthday cakes. They did such an amazing job on my “pickleball” themed cake. It was perfect. Ready on time. And tastes amazing as always.

Response To Owner: I did explain how dry the cupcakes were and compared that to the service I received. I did not have a "down right fantastic" experience when I visited as you expressed your views of your team. The young lady was not rude, or unhelpful...she was dry, almost cold and unemotional helping me. Very legitimate review by the way.I wont be returning, no worries. I have in fact been a customer for years, that is also explained in my review. I gave specific details about the way the company has changed. Facts and details are not malicious nor false.My name is listed...I am the Buyer Of Things, just not your product anymore. Seems you are looking for fake positive reviews... here is a few pictures of my “fake review” cupcakes. Be blessed.Original review: I have purchased cupcakes from sweet cakes for years. I have not been here in some time. I won’t be back, the customer service is almost as dry as the cupcakes.I had to salvage what I could to pull them out of the box because these dry tiny little puny cupcakes crumble and fall apart as well as don’t fit the boxes for the “ new and improved” recipes the owner boasts about in their replies. Icing smushed, cupcakes falling apart, very expensive mistake. I ordered regular cupcakes not minis for those thinking that.Sad part is my 3 and 6 year old said “no thanks and yucky” after tasting the first bites. I had to try them because what kid doesn’t want sweets. Well, they were hard and tasted like cheap stale grocery store cupcakes. I was already astonished by how small they have gotten for as much as they charge for them. There are plenty of better spots for sweets here.This spot was convenient and had awesome choices with phenomenal cupcakes. Just seems like a resale company for old outdated cupcakes now. What happened folks?

Amazing communication. I reached out to Sweet Cakes Bakery for a custom cake for my daughter’s birthday. I explained that my daughter had a nut allergy. They reached out and explained their process of how they make the cakes when there is an allergy. Super happy it how cake looked and it was really delicious. This was my first experience with a custom cake and first time customer of Sweet Cakes. Thank you guys for making my daughters cake. Can’t wait to come back and try some cupcakes.
