My wife doesn’t usually enjoy cake because they’re too sweet. However she loved her vanilla sponge fruit cake from here! It’s light and fluffy without being too sweet. Very delicious. We are ordering cakes from here going forward!

Really delicious mango pudding. Cakes looked really nice.Updating review: okay I finally tried the pork sung mochi cakes and they were amazing. I’ve honestly never tasted anything as amazing. Worth the trek from river north and will be getting all my cakes from here from now on whenever I’m in Chicago

My mom ordered an 8inch cake for my son's 2nd birthday this weekend. While it was beautifully decorated & packaged, the downside of the cake came to the fruit used on the inside. I'm very used to sponge & fresh fruit cakes but this was by far the worst I can remember having. The mango & cantaloupe used were not ripe at all. They were still crunchy and all of us eating it took a while figuring out what fruits they were. I could not believe the price for the cake either. Could not justify the price for the taste. I will also say communication with the bakery is very good. I've chatted with them in the past about getting a custom cake and have to say that aspect is all thumbs up. Maybe this was a one off for them but I definitely expected much better for the price & the hype.

Sometimes you don’t know what you’re missing until you stumble upon Te Cake. I’m glad the L brought me this way and I had to walk by it for my sports games. The owners are the best and so friendly. The desserts are all crafted with such creativity and what makes it the best is the light sweetness and different textures and flavors they combine. Perfect place to stop in and get a light and tasty dessert. Really any dessert is worth trying here, whether it’s the cake slices, cake cups or fruit boxes.
