- Cinnamon Rolls: Customers rave about their cinnamon rolls, described as "nicely made and perfectly sweet & cinnamonyy, without being sickly sweet." The frosting is a "fitting drizzle" that complements the doughy part, avoiding an overwhelming sweetness. It’s a "cinnamon & sugar filled, larger, flatter, rectangular turnover-ish style pastry," cooked to perfection. Customers note its "wonderful, thicker, doughy, yet delicate crust," preferring it significantly over mass-produced versions.
- Croissants: The Bread Shop offers croissants, which, at their best, have reminded customers of those found in Paris. While one customer noted a recent disappointing experience with a burnt, hard, crispy, and dry croissant, this specific feedback suggests that typically, their croissants are held to a high standard.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We came to try the cinnamon rolls and they're GREAT. They are nicely made and perfectly sweet & cinnamonyy, without being sickely sweet. A fitting drizzle of frosting on top complements the doughy part well, they are not inundated with frosting. This roll is also a perfect mix between the cinnamon 'roll' & 'bun', not too hard, not too soft-truer to the roll on the outside, then a softer bun style insde. To me they wonderful rolls, what I'm looking for when I get them and I will go back for more.We also got the cinnamon poptart. The poptart is a real treat too. Cinnamon & sugar filled, larger, flatter, rectangular turnover-ish style pastry. It is cooked to perfection. Not burned, doesn't have the taste of the pan or oil-but is a wonderful, thicker, doughy, yet delicate crust. Truly a delight. Better take on kellogs poptarts.
September 05 · Elaina L.I alway enjoy my croissants 🥐 from The Bread shop. It always reminds me of when I was in Paris. But the last one I had, I am very disappointed… I could have gotten a better one from BJs.It didn’t look like they knew how to make a croissant and it was so burnt, hard, crispy and dry!I had to throw it away! What a shame
August 30 · ShariYumm. Love how they keep adding to their selections! Their focaccia bread was amazing. Muffins are delicious! So happy they now have bakery pizza and I hope they bring more (but can you lower the price a little?) High quality, delicious food and love supporting our local bakeries! Keep adding more yummy things please 👏🏼
January 14 · Jenna Keller*update 2024* still amazing breads and sandwiches! So consistent over all these yearsHands down the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had, and it's because of the bread. Grilled to perfection on the outside, the crusty french bread on the sandwich is exactly what you expect, great chew and exceptional flavor! I had the sandwich to go and I am sad I didn't buy a loaf of bread at the same time... Next time!
March 15 · Andy OlechThis is one of the greatest new shops in downtown Wakefield. The bread is divine and the cookie is massive! The price was extremely low for the fantastic food. Service was excellent with friendly workers and I recommend it to all the bread lovers out there.
