Trining's Bakery & Cafe Introduce
## Introduction / Overview
For Southern California residents, especially those in the Inland Empire craving the authentic, comforting flavors of the Philippines, Trining's Bakery & Cafe in Temecula is a must-visit destination. More than just a traditional bakery, Trining's operates as a dual concept: a place where you can pick up delicious, specialty Filipino cakes and pastries, and a cafe serving an extensive menu of classic, home-cooked Filipino meals. It’s the perfect local solution for anyone seeking that "good old home cooking meal by Mom and family," saving the long drive down to San Diego for authentic Filipino cuisine.
Customers consistently praise the cafe for being their "go-to spot" when they need a taste of their heritage. The menu is robust, featuring beloved dishes that span the Filipino culinary landscape, including Pancit (various noodle dishes like Bihon and Canton), classic breakfast combos known as 'Silogs' (like Tocilog and Bangusilog), and main dishes such as Chicken Adobo, Sinigang, and Lechon. While the focus on authentic Filipino flavors means many selections are traditionally pork-based, the variety ensures there is a plate for every craving.
Critically, their baked goods—including cakes and pastries like Enseymada, Pan De Sal, and Ube-filled treats—are highlighted as being "above par" when compared to many other Filipino bakeries in the region. This commitment to both high-quality savory meals and sweet baked goods makes Trining’s Bakery & Cafe a unique and essential part of the Temecula community's food scene. Whether you're stopping in for a quick, hearty breakfast or picking up a feast for the family, Trining's delivers on flavor, authenticity, and comfort.

## What is Worth Choosing
For Southern California residents, especially those in the vast area between Orange County and San Diego, Trining's Bakery & Cafe is worth choosing primarily because it offers a centralized, high-quality source for authentic Filipino food and baked goods. The cafe solves a genuine geographical need by bringing an extensive menu of favorite Filipino dishes like Tocino, Adobo, and Pancit closer to home, thereby fostering a stronger sense of community and culinary accessibility in Temecula.
What truly solidifies its value is the dual, high-quality offering. You can sit down for a hearty, traditional savory meal—perfect for breakfast or lunch—and simultaneously satisfy your sweet tooth by taking home freshly baked Enseymada or a customized cake. While one review noted an inconsistency with quality control on certain sides (such as the veggie lumpia being soggy), the overall consensus is that the core food and the specialty cakes and pastries are "exceptionally good" and consistently deliver on the promise of good, home-style Filipino cooking. The establishment's setup works well, ensuring that the service is good and the food is always ready for patrons seeking a quick, satisfying visit.
Choosing Trining's means you are supporting a local business that serves as a cultural anchor, providing comfort food and specialty baked goods without requiring a major road trip. It’s the reliable, local spot for that satisfying taste of Filipino heritage in the heart of the Inland Empire.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Food is exceptionally good although most selections are pork based. Cakes and pastries are above par compared to other Filipino bakeries. The veggie lumpia was soggy and oily and could use better quality control !
April 16 · PHILLFSWhen you're craving for Filipino food. This is the place to go to in Temecula. The service is good, the setup works and the food is always good.Saves me a trip driving to San Diego for some good old home cooking meal by Mom and family. You name it they have it. Pancit, Tocino, sinigang, chicken adobo and so much more.Always my go-to spot when craving Filipino food. Some good Filipino food to be exact.
April 12 · Jerwin MendigorinThis little eatery is located inside 88 Ranch market. We love coming here. I like that they serve hot entrees and they've started making more pastries. I wish they would have more food choices that are ready made (like Panda Express), but their usual entrees like their beef Mechado and their Kare kare are always good-- better than other Filipino restaurants near by (in my opinion). You can still order other entrees, but you have to wait for them to make it. Their lumpia shanghai is delicious here! That's a must haveI can tell they're getting more popular so the lines are getting longer. Last Saturday was the craziest I've seen it. There were at least 7 people outside the door (in addition to the people on the inside).Customer service is always good. The ladies there are always nice.If you plan on coming often, you can sign up for their rewards program for free and gain points to get credit or earn free food or drinks.
May 27 · Jane DoeService is hit or miss, which determines your portions. Some items really good, others just ok. Used to be pretty decent on pricing but it has spiked over the last year. Definitely cutting into the value and review. Prices increased about 25% over the last year.
May 08 · Pj LopezGood Filipino food and pastries. Kinda pricey. I like coming here especially if I need to shop for Asian ingredients in the main store itself. So convenient.
