★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Oh my goodness!! I'm in so much trouble, this is 100 plant-based bakery with finger-licking pasties. Their flavors are unique and so so delicious. They are pricey about $5 plus per item. I ordered 4 pastries- hazelnut croissant - delicious, soft, fresh, amazing. Blueberry scone - good size, moist & delicious. Blackberry tart - good size, flaky, fresh & delicious. Raspberry donut - soft & delicious like Polish poczek. The coffee was very good as well.I must mention the young woman who assisted us, she was warm & friendly and went over the pastries w us. We asked for plates & better utensils to cut these in half & she delivered each time w a genuine smile.Just a wonderful bakery...where have you been all my lifeCC accepted.
June 08 · Magda GExceptional quality & taste, super friendly & kind service, beautiful interior. I love this place so much! After eating five different items from Twelvemonth, I can honestly say that this bakery has the best vegan baked goods/pastries I've ever had in my life. I'm not kidding.
July 08 · germandarling123I enjoyed the curry cauliflower brioche. The almond croissant was good but tasted a tad dry and had too much almond extract. Service is friendly and tip options are outrageous for a takeaway.
July 13 · Marjolaine GThis place, like Twelve Month, has the potential to be so much more - I remember when they first opened the Bakehouse, they were making really good pastries but struggling with breads. Their breads have gotten much better (great for vegan eating, not if you are a true butter connoisseur). But then they started making "non-traditional" flavors in addition to being vegan - curries on/in scones, and the like. I like them occasionally but I also like some more traditional items like plain croissants. They made a great chocolate chip cookie for awhile then stopped; same with a cinnamon roll - only to be replaced by some very unusual flavor that did not appeal to me. So if you are experimental and like non-traditional flavors, this may be the place for you but for me, would be great if they did a little bit of both because I've seen them do it in the past. On service, a number of times I've gone into the bakery there just is no one there and I've had to wait quite a long time. I'm also not a fan of starting the automatic tip on the cash screen at 22% and then it going up from there - a little arrogant. The place is beautiful - spent a lot of money building it and as someone who is mostly vegan, I want to support businesses that are vegan - but they make it a little hard and I wish they'd add some additional mainstream items.
June 24 · Andrew KleinFound this bakery/ coffee shop while searching on bakeries. It is on California street and it is connected to the restaurant but this one has different entry. It serve various pastries and coffee. They use Verve coffee. Itvis small shop with only 2 table for max of four seat. We order latte, mocha, almond croissant and lemon donut. The latte is average. The donut and almond croissant are yummy. The service is pretty quickThere is not parking directly in front of the shop. You can park at the parking load. Looks like there is no restroom
