★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Terrible customer service after purchase was made on Saturday evening, bag with supposedly fresh dinner rolls was opened Sunday morning to give to my kids. Mold surprise! My mother was the purchaser and obviously returned to the store to let them know of an incident and to make sure it’s not sold to others in such a form. She was treated almost as a criminal by the “lovely customer service ladies” there. They could care less that she spent money there and was given spoiled product. Instead of making it right they told her to come back the next day and bring a receipt even though it was very obvious that the product was theirs. They have also suggested that she should keep her bread in refrigerator which should have been freshly baked. She was promised manager would call her back which he never did. Instead she went to Viktor Bene Encino and was treated right. From there we also found out that incorrect manager information was given to her by the employees. This bakery is not on the cheap side but service definitely terrible. There is definitely something wrong with this business that treats customers this way. Very disappointing!

April 01 · Lord_LegolasI have gone to this Gelson's in the Victor Bakery twice. The first time I found the carrot cake done well. I enjoyed it. I just stop by there again and I got the carrot cake slice and I got a red velvet slice. My girlfriend and I ate both of them while enjoying a movie after lunch.A heavy queasiness came over her and my stomach felt like knotted pain and then I got sick became nauseous. My throat hurts I will never go back to that Gelson's again. Horrible experience the quality has declined. How unfortunate
May 17 · James HarmanBought large selection of pastry for the party. The party found out that the pastry was outrageously stale. It tasted like it was sitting on shelves for weeks. Reputation ruined. Thank you Gelsons. AVOID THIS BAKERY AT ALL COSTS.
February 11 · Max SolonskiI always make a special trip to grab cakes and cookies at the Tarzana location where I used to live since 2001 but moved to Las Vegas in 2015. When I’m in town, Viktor Bene never lets me down all these years not until I stopped by Wednesday 09/01/2021.I was peeking through the case to check out the cakes while this woman at the VB counter was answering questions to a customer. For no apparent reason she saw me and yelled “you need to keep your distance.” I was just breezing thru the display and I am very much aware of social distancing wherever I go.I just realized that the woman who was already rude to me was VB’s manager and her name was Lupe. Really? The manager? When it was my turn,I asked for prices on the fruit tart, the parisien choco cake since they come in different sizes and these 2 cakes are a staple in my house. Lupe answered back with an offensive tone. I didn’t say anything. As she was pulling out other cakes, i pointed out that I wanted to buy the fruit tart and the parisien cake…again, she answered me back and her tone was increasingly rude and offensive. So I told her that she needs to calm down and told her actions are uncalled for but she continued to answer me back then she asked me “do you want someone else to help you?” Before I could answer her back, she handed the box to another staff and gladly I recognized the lady that worked there for years. I was pleased that this lady helped me.I don’t know if Lupe just had a bad day and happened to single me out or she’s just an unhappy human being that takes their frustrations subconsciously on other people or simply just a mean human!!! LUPE should NOT be the face of Viktor Bene’s bakery! She’s appalling to say the least!!! I will go to VB Encino from hereon!.
