Tried Bethesda Bagels for the first time. I ordered two different bagel sandwiches, but they mixed up my order and swapped the toppings. The taste was good and flavorful, though not the best bagel I’ve ever had.

Bethesda Bagels continues to be the best place for a New York style bagel in this area. Super friendly staff and management here at the Wildwood location. Bagels are always fresh, You can literally see the staff rolling them out in the back— highly recommend the veggie cream cheese! Super seamless online ordering process. If you’re from up north and feeling deprived of a good bagel in this area…this is your place!

I live on the West Coast, so I'm sorely deprived of real bagels. Thank goodness for the Bethesda Bagels bagel superhero to the rescue!The bagels are hand made and the perfect chewyness. Great selection of flavors and toppings. As others have mentioned, this location is always super busy. (You can order ahead and pick up, but I like to stand there waiting so I can soak up the bagel essence.)The staff is friendly and efficient. My favorite is the jalapeño cream cheese.

Got the pizza bagel - very good! It was warm and satisfying and I got good cheese pulls. I would hope it was a bit more saucy, but that is just my preference. You can get many different items there from bagels to mini bagels, to a beverage such as lemonade or coffee.

Really great fresh bagels. Real deal. Having come from both upstate New York and Southern New Jersey, I have not found anything in the region that came close to quality bagels. Then we tried Bethesda Bagels on Old Georgetown this week and have already returned for a second time. Bagels with cream cheese 👌. I read other reviews before going and a lot of the negative reviews seem to be pretty subjective, for example, people complaining about a wait time which sounds like their poor planning and managing their own schedule, or not being pampered and having a red carpet rolled out for them. None of these things actually have to do with the food or service offered or provided. From my two experiences, if you want quality bagels and either plan ahead to order so you don't have to wait, or be okay and have the time to wait when they are busy, then this is a great bagel place in the area I'm happy to have stumbled upon.
