Welcome, Georgia residents! If you are searching for genuinely authentic Middle Eastern baked goods, look no further than Cedar Wood Bakery. Situated in the greater Atlanta area, specifically in the Doraville vicinity, this local establishment has carved out a specialty niche that distinguishes it from a typical neighborhood bakery. This bakery is a treasure trove for anyone eager to explore the rich culinary heritage of the Middle East. At its core, the business focuses on three main categories: freshly baked pita bread, the traditional Lebanese ring-shaped bread known as kaak, and an irresistible array of handcrafted Arabian sweets. While a business thrives on great products, as with any local operation, customer experiences can be varied. We aim to provide a factual, comprehensive overview for those in Georgia considering Cedar Wood Bakery for their next culinary need, whether it's for a family meal, a large event, or a commercial supply. For those who have struggled to find truly fresh, perfectly soft, or ideal-thickness pita bread in the United States, Cedar Wood Bakery has been celebrated by many customers for offering what some call the "Best pita bread you can find in the United States!" This level of praise speaks volumes about the quality of their core offerings and the authenticity they bring to the Atlanta food scene. The commitment to traditional Lebanese baking ensures every loaf of bread and every sweet pastry carries a genuine, unforgettable flavor.

Features / Highlights
The true allure of Cedar Wood Bakery lies in the unique and authentic products that form their menu. They specialize in items that are difficult to find made with comparable freshness and traditional techniques elsewhere in Georgia.
- Authentic Pita Bread: Celebrated by customers as potentially the best in the US, the pita bread is a cornerstone product. It is available in various sizes, including 8-inch medium loaves, and comes in both white and whole wheat varieties, perfect for wraps, dipping, or making homemade pita chips due to its ideal thickness.
- Traditional Kaak: Cedar Wood Bakery offers authentic Kaak, a versatile, ring-shaped bread, often topped with sesame seeds, that is a delightful treat for any occasion.
- Exquisite Arabian Sweets: The selection of traditional sweets is a major highlight, crafted using time-honored Arabian recipes. Key items include:
- Maamoul Delights: Delicious shortbread pastries filled with pistachio, walnut, or dates.
- Nammoura: A sweet, syrupy semolina cake with a delicate hint of coconut.
- Halawet el Jeben: A soft, sweet cheese-based dessert, rolled with ashta (clotted cream) and drizzled with rose syrup.
- Barazek: Thin, crisp cookies studded with sesame seeds and pistachios, baked to a golden finish.
- Wholesale Capacity: The ability to supply fresh products for wholesale demonstrates a commitment to large-scale freshness and consistent quality, serving the broader food industry in Georgia.

What is Worth Choosing
Cedar Wood Bakery is worth choosing for Georgia residents who prioritize true authenticity and specialized, fresh-baked Middle Eastern staples over general bakery fare. The strongest reason to choose this establishment is their Pita Bread. Customer feedback consistently highlights the superior quality and freshness of the pita, confirming its reputation as a standout product. Whether you need it for traditional dips like hummus and lebni, for making kebabs and wraps, or for cutting and baking into pita chips, their pita bread is considered a premium product that is back by popular demand in various local international markets.
Beyond the bread, the commitment to traditional Arabian Sweets makes this bakery an essential destination for celebratory treats or a delicious snack. We recommend trying a mix of their specialties. The Maamoul offers a rich, buttery, shortbread experience with a choice of authentic fillings, perfect for sharing during holidays. The delicate Halawet el Jeben provides a unique texture and flavor profile for those seeking a soft, cheese-based dessert. The Barazek cookies are an excellent choice for a light, crunchy bite with the distinct flavor of sesame and pistachio.
It is important for potential customers to note the dichotomy found in available public reviews. While product quality, specifically the pita, receives high praise ("Best pita bread you can find"), some feedback points to challenges with customer service, particularly concerning order accuracy and professionalism in communication. Customers placing commercial or large quantity orders should be clear and persistent with their requirements. For most individual customers seeking unparalleled pita and unique sweets, however, the superior product quality usually justifies the visit. By focusing on the strength of their authentic, fresh-baked specialties, Cedar Wood Bakery fills a critical and delicious gap in the Atlanta bakery landscape.

August 31 · cecilia DaouLiterally the worst customer service of all time. We order for our restaurant all the time, they never get our order quantity correct, they make you wait cause they forget to make the bread when you arrive. Asked to talk to a manager cause the 14 year old over the phone won’t accept anything even when she’s clearly wrong and she says she’s the owner. Wasted too much of my time and money at this place. That’s what happens when you let a teenager run the show. No apology, no nothing. Definitely will never order from these people again. Hopefully the little girl will stop with the attitude before she bankrupts her daddy’s business.
December 09 · Emir GungorenVery delicious and quality pita bread . It looks like the pita bread from middle east which is not easy to be found in USA. In summary, it is the best pita bread in USA.
January 13 · Ahmad Abdel-FattahThe most terrible pita ever it started so good and it just went down hill with different experiments that the owners keeps trying whenever you order a huge quantity for restaurant use.Very rude and they don’t refund the money for there own damaged pita.Never again if I can post pictures to prove my review.
