★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1You guys. This place checks all of the boxes! As soon as you walk in, there is a huge display of their fresh pastry selections and it is very clean! The staffwere knowledgeable and friendly. The food. Oh my word.. hands down, some of the best pastries have gotten in the Ubited States. I couldn't decide on just one pastry so I ended up with the original croissant, the Almond croissant and then the coffee cake per the staffs reccomendation. The croissant reminded me of ones I would get in Paris! So flaky and buttery and an amazing crumb shot (feel free to admire the picture). The almond croissant was so flavorful and with a delicious frangipane inside and a crumble topping (genius). And the COFFEE CAKE was to die for. It has a nice cinnamon flavor with a pecan and oat crumble (I think) that is one of the best things I have ever tasted on a coffee cake. I can see why it was a staff favorite!I can tell that there is so much care and pride that goes into each and every item!
August 05 · Lezah HigashiABSOLUTELY AMAZING As someone who has been in the culinary industry (pastry) for over 30 years. I tried 5 different items and must say they are absolutely FABULOUS. Exactly what you expect of any Parisian bakery. My hats off to the pastry chef absolutely amazing work. I would highly recommend this place.
August 16 · Steven LasaterThis place is a real gem that I happened to stumble upon on Sunday. My experience here was exceptional. Staff recommendations were spot on. The cream cheese danish was one of best I ever had. Light, airy, well balanced and not overly sweet. The croissant reminds me of my Barcelona visit. Cheesecake was so freakin delicious. Boston cream cake was pretty amazing. Everything was moist and the flavors tantalize my palate. This is my new favorite bakery. I highly recommend stopping by. The cookies are pretty damn good too.
March 04 · Cleveland WalkerClearly this is one of the best if not the best bakery in the valley, but I am sharing some feedback here in hopes it lands with the talented bakers at Chaconne. I just tried the country loaf bread for the first time, and it is delicious but I think it can be better. There seems to be a lack of sourdough flavor, it tastes more like a whole wheat vs a sourdough made with a rich starter. I am sharing this feedback with the hopes the taste of sourdough and health benefits can be improved with more attention placed on fermentation.
August 25 · Scott Terrillthe date loaf was especially good. no inside seating just fyi but a couple tables outside.
