★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My husband and I have been getting cakes from Cuccio’s for the past 5 years and while every cake has been sooo yummy, the one we ordered for our daughter’s first birthday quite literally takes the cake. I spoke with the baker directly, showed her inspiration pictures, and asked for her opinion on flavors and she suggested vanilla cake with vanilla cream and chocolate mousse filling and it was absolutely delicious. The cake was light and soft, the fillings tasty but not too sweet, and the buttercream piping was so beautiful. Everyone had a slice and said it was delicious. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better.
April 13 · Marina DiazWe came out of our way from Williamsburg to get the rainbow cookie cake. My partner grew up in the area and recalls Cuccio's as the best bakery with the absolute best rainbow cookie. (We have argued) We came home so excited to share the cake with our family. Everyone was so disappointed. $33 for the small cake. The amount of cream in this cake is excessive - your eyes will cross from the sugar. Besides that, the famous almond flavor in a rainbow cookie is non-existent... Are they using cherry extract instead to save money? I don't know. But one bite reminded a few of us of cherry cough syrup. We recently have been on a mission to find the best rainbow cookie. This past week we went to Court Street Bakery and Fortunato Bakery for rainbow cookies and they blow this place out of the water.Cuccio's has been around since 1937, and we hope it's open for a very long time. We don't know if this place is under new management, the website is down, but I hope that they revamp some of their offerings. The pecan pastry cake we got was good, and I'm sure their other offerings are also delicious.
November 14 · Aneta Otylia SiwiecWent to get some baked goods and saw lots of fruit flies and house flies in the glass display and latching onto donuts. Saw fruit flies on the cookies as well. Def a DOH violation and a health concern for the public. Def wouldn't come back unless you want food poisoning
July 14 · HappySquirrelThis was my first time here. All the sweets I had were very good. Not too sweet. They definitely aren’t cheap when it comes to fillings. My favorite was the eclairs and lobster tails. They have a lot of bread that looks good too. I’ll try that when I go back. Definitely recommend. The staff is very sweet as well
April 17 · A GWas unimpressed with my purchase. The crumb cake which I use to love tasted like bread with crumbs. It was dry. The cream in the Boston cream tasted a bit sour. The donut part was OK.Seven layer cookies looked stale. Was very disappointed, use to love this place.
